As I mentioned there is some art in Welfenhof.
Certainly you cannot compare it to sculpture by the sea, also cause it´s indoors.
Not beautiful, but interesting (I think).
It´s called "Time is Floating" ("Zeit im Fluß").
The installation has a fascinating green surface, it says:
... And only on second glance, often with the help of your hands you find the element there is water.

... that the floating water symbolizes durability and restlessness of time as a whole.
It also mentions a little comet, but I couldn´t see it. It is to circle the clock pointing out every second. Nice idea, just not there (to my eye).
The clock shows the time of the day and reminds you that time - as water - is floating.
And, yes, time is floating, flying by, but we also have sustainability!

The man selling them was very sure we´ll come back for more and guess what?
Ingo can´t wait to go and we´ll take the paper-bags to use some more times, too :-)

See the plane and kite? Fly away, if water is not your element,... or hold your hand on our installation to remind you (and visit us).
And don´t you worry - I´m not done with sculpture by the sea or Perth!

Time is a funny thing. Some people seem to get so much done in their time and others not. Since I retired I think I fall into the 'not' category.
Yes, I read you! I´m between supposed to be signed sick/unemployed and get nothing done, it´s terrible...

I love the Time is Floating installation. That's really intersting. And I REALLY love your tomatoes! It won't be till August or September that we have tomatoes from the vine, just the grocery store ones that are always a little tough and not too tasty. These look beautiful and yum!
I´ll taste one of each brand in about an hour :-)
August-September?! That´s when our season slowly ends!
A creative installation.
I like the look of those tomatoes. We used to plant tomatoes and they tasted like real tomatoes should, not like most tasteless ones from the supermarket.

William, yes - "we make" the time in Braunschweig, too (PTB).
Sami, really! Figs, mangos, avos, grapes and no tomatoes? (Papays, too, right).
Yes, most from the supermarket here are tasteless, too...
I only buy vine ripened tomatoes now, so yummy 🍅 I love the clock and the concept of time floating instead of flying by much too quickly.. I often find myself multi tasking, a particularly female ability 😀😀
Kingsway SC said our Pakistani Grocer-family will come back - their tomatoes are yummy, too :-)
