Ohhhh.... 06:something a.m., I´m at the PC and see a movement on the balcony.

Grabbed a handfull of peanuts, opened the door and there my neighbour was, shortly looking at me and munching on!!!!
Usually they (I think it´s a family of four) make a quick dash to get away, but noooo....
The other day Ingo was "secretly" smoking his pipe at the open window when one of the members sat on a branch just 2 metres from him and they looked at each other calmly.
Isn´t this amazing?
As if they know (or yesterday really saw) we put the peanuts out for them.
I think not running away is as much taming as can be done, no?

And the first time "I took" Ingo to Guido´s, the oldest Pizza place in Braunschweig, the staff is Italian, friendly and the Pizza yummy and not only that!
When we went in I asked if we can share a Pizza - no problem, they said.

It is always a thrill to see native animals. That pizza is huge, lucky you could share.
Love the squirrels, so cute that stop by to eat the peanuts :)
I also leave seeds for the doves and they come every day to the bird feeder and even when I approach I can be about 1 mt away and they don't fly off.
