This is "Macrocosmia Series: Oceania Sphere" by Elizabeth Kelly from NSW.
Pain? The title?
Did you love biology/chemistry at school, did you study it even?
When I finished school I had no idea what to become, what to study, so in the end I went to take a test.
"You can study anything".
Yes, shuuuure.....
I´d have had to quit in mid term first semester in one of these!!!
How come such unqualified tests are around???
The statement I copy, just to be sure to tell you no nonesense!

(See why I didn´t go into studying this, but to me it looks like it can eat up people´s cells, like my parent´s ones...)
What is it to you, a pain or beautiful (and is that man to the right going naked? I do not think that FKK is allowed on Cottesloe beach (or elsewhere in Australia)...).

I liked the sculpture until I read the description! I have a science degree! I loved chemistry the theory of it but turned out to be hopeless and the prac. In the end I settled on majoring in computer science instead. That was 45 years ago. Computers were a very different thing then.
The sculpture looks like a weapon to be launched at anyone who dares to get naked on the beach! ;)
In reply to your query on my post yes there are fisherfolk who bring baskets of fish door to door to sell for people who are too busy to go to the fish market. :)
I loved this one Iris.. I find sometimes it's better to not read the artist statement and decide whether you like it just on appearance.. of course that theory might not go down well with the artist 😀 and you are right, no nudy stuff on Cottesloe beach, the nudist beach is Swanbourne beach 😉
