Oh, does it happen to you, too? Best before-dates expire soooo fast!
Luckily my nose can smell again and this smelled still good, the "house-pig" did enjoy :-)
The journal, oh, time so flies... seven weeks no sport due to that darn flu.
I´ll try and start today after work.
Monday: "Bakery Mechau, G, good morning" - "K, good morning,..." - "Half a Glattes, I put it away, see you later 😁".What, the heck, if one day I want more, like an onion-bread? I get no chance to order!!!
Work was good. "Tschüssi, ciao, tschüssi" (to-be-teamleader´s good bye, he is Brazilian... temperament!!).
Tuesday: My magician called ME for help - and I could help - yippeeeee!
And... Weird. My to-be-teamleader called me to tell me what he is doing. Shouldn´t he rather ask what I am doing? There is no hierarchy! We are a team! 😀
Lunch: defrosted 1 portion Mac & Cheese. Ate half. Ack!
That makes 14 portions in the aftermath!
Wednesday: Are you sometimes so dumb you have to laugh about yourself?!
I was to compare Version A0 to B0 and to take "Word compare". And wondered... can MS Word compare English and German?! Ohhhh. 593 changes?!!!!
CERTAINLY I am to take the ENGLISH A0 and translate later what I found.
But I needed help anyways as I had 3 windows with 5 views... first time I did this - I´m still a newbie with Word and many a colleague went to ESE (company I am hired at) and asked for further training in this, too.
Also my ESE-teamleader, whom I asked for help needed a while.
I finally said, duuuuuhhhh.. ENGLISH vs ENGLISH, my bad.
We had a good laugh and I hope he tells no one...
Human dumbness level three versa AI... 🤣
(My magician hates MS Word, so I could not ask him.)
Hmmm, toast with truffle-butter for lunch, YUM.
And to-be-teamleader ... oh, it´s frightening. His Papa (Brazilians say "Papa", isn´t that sweet) has dementia.
That, and Alzheimer´s is my big fear, too. Read a book about a 40-y-o man with that, read that kids can get it (Alzheimer´s especially), my Granma had it. Both deseases are scary, the latter is dangerous. Granma ran away several times.
He sounded so sad...
Proofreader, too, called... he needed help (I could do that - I even "found out" we read German - not kidding!!!!) and then we somehow drifted to studying, politics and... hups!
See, MS teams is nearly like really being physically in the same office!!!
I don´t miss a thing!
Thursday: @Ingo...don´t read this...
My T was devastated. A colleague fell sick and he hence has to work all day with the guy we call "Wiki" or "A##hole".
I reminded him of all the times we payed that dude back.
Like...
Wiki: "T, can you take me to Braunschweig later?"
T: "No."
I nearly fell off my chair laughing!!!
Those who know me personally know I am calm. Twice I yelled so loud at him guys in the next office laughed (no one liked/likes that guy). I could go on endlessly (but won´t).
To-be-teamleader... oh. The Brazilian. Means talks superfast and nonstop and calls in an INSTANT when you have a question.
He´s supernice but by 09:00 am I was worn out already 🤣 (I start at 06:00 am)
And he always says: "no stress"!!! LOL...
Yikes, another 10-hours´ work day.
Friday: Admin called and asked what I had for brekkie (it was 09:05 a.m.). And we talked about... truffle!!! (I had truffle-butter on my egg-bread).
Isn´t life fun?! Unlike Ingo and my T he loves this, too.
And he helped me with a problem I actually... we are a TEAM! 🥰
And I am dumb. I raise problems, others benefit from it and I.. have to do the work and have a mess still (I said, let´s clean up data in Sharepoint) - duuuu. If I´d said nothing...
But then... we are a TEAM. Right.
MIL contacted me on FB. Think we get along better again.
Weekend:
Saturday: Slept in, got up for the series X-Factor and it was all old ones, gah.
The sun came out just shortly, the grey days since weeks really turn me down. Could´ve stayed in bed. Still coughing and all.
Blogger does not let me comment in many a blog, btw. In some I can give name / url, in others I fail like totally.
I do try different browsers and more than one attempt.
I started asking fellow bloggers to spread the word to those I cannot reach.
We are a community after all!! Bummer.
Bro called :-)
And I met W :-)
Sunday:
Day of rest. Yay for DVDs, watching stuff in the original!
Sent Bro a mail that I got a book, The Tale of Ole Green Eyes from dear bloggy-friend and author Cathy - for free (I´ll buy it at amazon if Bro approves), it´s about two sisters and I hope to get my Niece to value learning the English language this way. Without English I would not have this super-great job!
Art-wise... how about this, my tools, or some of them:
Still not enough colors... thanks to Ingo more to come!
But I have this for you:
Maybe you´ve visited last Friday for FFO... I never, NEVER expected the mask would REALLY look like this - isn´t that too cool??? Why did no one ring at our door???
(sorry, not a selfie-pro, plus no glasses on....)
Food-wise... an ole pic from ALDI, some time next... LIDL:
