Well, that was still the case in the 70´s! Ingo was one of the first with short hair.
The classroom-door flew open once, he told me, and a pupil was yelling, "there he is!!!".
But then, Ingo was also the one knitting in class, cause the girls were allowed to! A little rebel he was.

Today we have 20C (68F) in Adelaide, you'd be happier here maybe? But it is autumn and we will get colder, so better you stay there and wait for your summer. I still see a lot of long haired men here and I like that as long as it is clean and combed.

PLEASE trade places with me. Yesterday it was 93 F (33.9 C) when I went to the bank and today it is supposed to be 95 F (35 C). Some men still wear their hair long. It looked good on the rock stars of days gone by, but not so much now.
That is a very low temperature for almost Summer! On the other hand we've been having summer temperatures and we are 2 weeks away from Winter! Last week we had 30C, 32C, today we have 28C! Still wearing short sleeves, just a little cooler in the early mornings or late nights.

We've had 3 days of nice weather this month. More rain and a little chilly on the way. I'm with you. Where is Spring though I wouldn't mind just jumping right to Summer.

Our temperatures have been crazy, 39°f one night, 84° a few days later. And rain, rain, rain. Today though the sky is blue. Hurray!
I like those shop windows. That's almost a thing of the past here.
I still like to see a guy with long hair. Takes me back. ;-)
It’s in the 70-80s here. Have you considered migrating to Italy? That would be lovely. I liked it better than Germany when I visited in 1969-1970.

There's still lots of men with long hair. Some look good with it and some do not. But probably many men wish they had enough hair so they could grow it long if they wanted. :)
