These are the wood-strawberries - also living beings, hence critters? - I saved from my Brother´s garden years ago.
Mom and "I" kinda "stole" some from the woods in 1974 (I was 2).
I asked fellow blogger DVArtist what I should do about them, see, there are blossoms and I am not to disturb too much.

Those that have no blossoms, don´t they just steal nutrition from the ones that have away?

This soil seems still OK, I have yet another bed with older soil and will take care of that after the cold was here. But, weeeeee I don´t know how, their roots are so darn strong!
Two beds broke so I threw them away bit by bit.

I was at two concerts in my life: Bob Geldof, before he was famous, it was for free and not many people and Marius Müller-Westernhagen - TOO MANY PEOPLE!!!
If I was older and someone´d given me tickets to a Queen-concert I´d said "no".

I hope the plant gives you lots of strawberries. I have seen your new flat mate outside but not in the house. I would have loved the music festival in my younger days, not so much now. I would go to a concert now except that all the music I like has become obsolete except Bob Dylan who still performs on occasion. I did see him. The best ones were free.
Tom Jones was in Perth... we were on our way home to Germany...
I've been to a lot of concerts and had a great time at every one. The crowds didn't bother me.
Crowds and also too loud does freak me out. And the dangers these days...

I will be looking through the strawberry patch to weed out any plants without fruit from now on, thanks, I didn't know that.Spiders do us a service it's true, and I also let them be. I have never been to a live concert! The crowds would put me off, and you make a valid point where do you go to pee if you r'e in a hurry. We don't have these large festivals in Portugal.

Walderdbeeren sind einfach die besten! Vielleicht ein bisschen Kompost dazu? (Erdbeeren werden übrigens gern mit Pferdemist gedüngst, aber nicht mit frischem...) Edi hat eine Spinnenphobie, aber diese "Daddy Longlegs" findet er nicht so schlimm wie die mit den kurzen Beinen. Wir lassen sie jedenfalls alle leben.
Ich war in meinem Leben bei vielen Konzerten und anderen Massenveranstaltungen, auch wenn ich Menschenmassen nicht mag. Ich mag Livemusik und gute Stimmung und bestimmte Bands. Es ist wie beim Fliegen: Ich fliege absolut nicht gern, aber ich bin gern auf Reisen und liebe es, weit entfernte Länder kennenzulernen... Also blende ich das aus, was ich daran nicht so toll finde. Allerdings werde ich fürs lange Stehen bei Konzerten zu alt, und allzu lange werde ich wohl auch keine Langstreckenflüge mehr schaffen. Alles im Leben hat seine Zeit.

We used to have a strawberry plant and it did well. When we moved, we gave away all our plants. I used to go to concerts in the 70s but not interested in rowdy crowds these days and the music is not that good.

Plants get their nutrients through photosynthesis. They do absorb other things they need like nitrogen, phosphorous, sulfur etc. from the soil. I'd leave the ones flowering in the pot. They could flower later. But you might want to fertilize the soil, Or maybe they are too wet and have root rot. I find with plants the best thing to do is just ignore them a bit, just don't them dry out. hugs-Erika
The plants that don't have blossoms might yet get some so don't pul them out, wait and see. Find out from a plant nursery or from google, what kind of nutrients the soil needs. Out in the wild woods they get what they need by themselves, but in a pot you might have to help a bit.
I would never go to a crowded music festival like that, too many people, not enough toilets and from the outer edges how do you see the people on stage? I wouldn't enjoy that at all.
I think in Germany concerts always were pretty expensive. Or... for free! With "stars to become ones". Charlotte hopefully brings me luck, I can need that. Thank you for your mail!!!
Liebe Traude, ja, sie sind sehr süß und soooo klein. Und die Pflanzen so robust! Ich müsste mal zur Polizei, vielleicht hat die Berittene Pferdemist! ;-) Ich lebe in ner Großstadt.... Ich hasse fliegen auch.... aber beamen hat ja noch keiner erfunden! Der Vater meiner Freundin fliegt im Alter von 90 noch von Portugal nach Australien - es gibt Hoffnung!
