... we have to cover us - 1995 I a couple of very short times went from the car to the grocery without sunscreen > sun-allergy. The Australian sun is EXTREMELY strong.
Sign to come next Wednesday...
Anyhows, I could not handle our huge, heavy sun-brolly and always had to wait for Ingo to come home to put it up for me.
I start 06:00 am and hence are done by 02:30, Ingo is home 03:30 earliest...
So Ingo got these!
When by myself I take the beige one - see the different form? It´s streched in the length, so I am safely in the shadow.
Ingo sure is a wizard. He even managed to keep the old construction:
And what did he do next?
I was thinking about giving this pic to bertiebo as she collects faces, but this one looks too sad...
The potatoes luckily were not done yet, cause I wanted to eat them last as...
No one can tell me a gas-grill is the same as a coal one or a wood-fire.
I know all three and one loses BIG.

I agree with you on gas-grill, then I can just as well use my gas-stove ;) I missed some marshmallows in those pics :)
Marshmellows are sweet... ;-)
I cannot comment on your blog anymore :-(
I love those potatoes!
Sun is my obsession: I cannot stay under the sun because I had a melanoma but I need it because I have a lack of D vitamine!
Hurrah for the sunshine. It must be summery weather for you? I hope so at least. It's raining and dark here today, and even though it's chilly it is warmer than Iceland was. Happy weekend Iris. Hugs-Erika
Black Knight, same here, I ruined my skin for good and always in summer have 50+ sunscreen, also in Germany...

Erika, oh, your holiday is already over then? I hop over to see :-)
25C/77F getting warmer. Can´t wait for hitting more :-)
Hope yours gets warmer, too - happy weekend, hugs
Good morning from the lake-I love your two umbrellas-and yum the food loos delicious.
we came down to Missouri from the more northern states in the midwest-border of Illinois and Wisconsin-still haven't gotten used to the hotter sun here in Missouri-it is lower in the sky here and yep can burn fast so I use sunscreen too.
Happy weekend hugs
Living in Germany you dream about life in Australia!
...enjoy the sun while you can.
I never understood why some people love gas grills, no flavor. I love the taste of a charcoal or wood grill, they are the best. Happy weekend to you!
Kathy, oh, it can not get hot enough for me! Lucky there is sunscreen! Hugs to you and the lake, to a great weekend!

magiceye, yes. But we´re too old now - they only take people under 50...
____
Tom, I sure will :-)
____
Bill, I don´t understand either. Even in the dry Outback, when you are careful, a real fire is no problem!
Happy weekend to you, too!
It would be lovely sitting out there under the umbrellas.
It is! :-)
And so quiet!
I love those umbrellas we had one of them here before we moved to Greymouth but sold it to have less to move. It was awesome. I'm one of those people who has to wear suncream 50 plus over Summer cos I burn in 10 minutes literally
The food looks good!
It's been awhile since I had anything from a grill.
Sun-allergy or sunburn? what is sun-allergy anyway?
I like the two umbrellas. If you wrap the potatoes in foil they will cook in the heat but not burn black on the outside.
Amy, buy a new one come summer :-)
Yes, I cannot go out without sunscreen... glad this exists, right?
____
Christine, it was yummy!
____
William, you should, it´s yummy.

River, Sun-allergy. Like little bubbles. And burning as well.
Nah, no foil, we love it the way we did in Australia :-) It gives taste. I do think.
Like a sausage tastes better from a charcoal grill as well.
That looks so tasty! And I love your umbrellas!
"Like little bubbles", those would be blisters, from the sun burning you, like the blisters my brother had when he was trapped in a hay shed that caught fire when he and a neighbour boy were sneaking cigarettes. They got saved by workmen out on the road, lucky the workmen were in the right place at the right time.
