Double-Half or One Ten without ham

Having (nearly) everything twice, being no longer just one of two in the week. Being a Pizza-lover like no other, disliking ham, hence the new title.

The Other Car

Gosh.
Ingo reported he read in the papers two apartments here in Karlstreet have been broken into and got robbed last week. Geez!
(You know how? Just ring the bell at everybody´s, yell, "mailman!" and someone will open. Once you´re inside, it´s an easy job. -

Hey, not here! My friend will move in while we´re on holiday)

Well, anyhows. Yesterday I had a company meeting (yummy food, great company ("old" colleagues) - after a somewhat... long and boooooring interesting afternoon.... - no, really. Management asked again (anonymously) how everybody feels in certain points, like, do I feel my opinion counts, do I have a friend amogst colleagues, do I have the material I need and so on... I love to work there, really)...

Well, came back at 7:45 and cruised around for 20 minutes (!) in search for a place to leave my car (my dear car!).

Finally! at Aldi´s. Just a short walk. I can park here, right? There are doors, but there´s a bike-park, too.

Today... we ran errands. Ingo realised he needed something that made us drive past the place where my car is parked - this car stood:

The grey one, ya know?

I was like... ... ??? ...

And my heart stopped beating for a sec.

Wait!!! This is where I left my car yesterday night!!!
Sure? You locked it?

MAN! YES!

I did leave it here, right? Wait, I cruised around and around and yes... I left it here! Nowhere else, here!

Two apartments robbed, a brand new car gone.

Looko, here where the space is free now, this is where I parked my brand new Polo last night:

Look very, very closely (and remember it was dark when I got there)....

Yeah, right.

We went straight to the Police.

"Yes, at Meier, ok." (That´s where he was towed away to)

hehe.. .where else?! :-)))... ok, that´s in your place, "At Meyer´s, at Meyer´s, where else")

Yeah. Saw those lines that say no parking? No? Me neither.

Will cost me some 53 bucks.

Here he is, good boy:

Really... my hands were trembling and I thought, Oh, no, my dear car!! Barely 4 weeks old... and gone. Where is he, what kind of people have him?
Can you "love" a car? I can.

It´s "just" a company car, full insurance. How do people feel like who really own their car, huh?

Gosh.

Parking in a well declared and marked loading zone! The people from the towing company know the problem. They told me, that they come almost every morning (7am). We schould take a close look to see the gray lines on gray ground (actually bright white,5 years ago). OK, usually we go for work at 05:30am and then it´s not a delivery zone.

For a while there you would have suspected a case of senior's moment, I'm sure.
