Perth, 19/02 – Gone With The Wind – No-No... time? And An Aussie Loo

One day... hopefully soon, I´d like to have that number-plate and live it!

Today we went to Little Creatures in Freo – with Grace and Pat again, thanks so much!

Here we have the proof the lady that liked my bag so much but said the carousel is no more was wrong!

We first got to see the artists´place where Grace got our wedding-pressie from..., Stunned Emu dangerous! You can leave heaps of your money there, so many beautiful pieces to find!!!!
Such talented guys over there!

So many murals on the way again!

I have to sneak in a story here, it was 1999, I was the driver of our very beautiful Nissan Partrol LWB.
A Dad-emu crossed the gravel road, followed by two kids, I stopped the car just in time.
The very moment I wanted to drive on a third baby-emu dashed behind the others, saw me (or rather the huge car) and fell on his little butt which made a truly high amount of dust popping up!
I still have to grin, remembering this.

So... getting shown this shop, huh?... Thank you, Grace!

Or here, how cute is this?

We went to Greg James Sculptor, sadly it was closed, but, yipiiie, here it is, the ocean!!!!

And a(nother) cool sculpture - with seagull!

And here...

Ingo points it out:

Yipps, a loo!

Here is the proof... I´m in. I joined that generation that´s glued to the smartphone whilst walking.... No!!! That was a one-time-only!

Since I forgot to ask Grace if it´s ok to post pics with her and or Pat I put them here, where friends are welcome to visit! Here is the short version.

Here we are with another girl :-)

Another mural:

The harbor (sorry, this is a pic-galore!):

Awww, no?

We went to The Round House again and then really to...

... Little Creatures and somehow – again, I asked beforehand if I may tell the naked story, which I did when Grace said she orders naked burgers at Grill´d... and I added I love when people can laugh about themselves.

Take care, these people are serious about this!!!!

As I sit here at the very small kitchen-table in the cabin I have to grin big.
Because... it sure was hilarious!

We felt like being stuck in a movie-scene, which reminded me of Joondalup the other day, but the movie-title was removed from my brain!!!

P: „Gone With The Wind“?
Grace: „Lost In Translation“?
Guys, you cracked me up, it did not help, but, yes, I love laughing about myself :-)

Pic see other blog...

Gone with the wind!!! LOL!!!
(And no, I never saw that movie).

The Pizza at Little Creatures was Y.U.M.

Reckon we were the weirdest table for the time being.

My pizza at least suggested „without (what was it, anchovies?)“
. Grace wanted her pizza without the fish, the coffee had to be extra-hot, whereas the beer was too warm and we needed ice-cubes (!) with that!

Pic see other blog...

Some weirdos we are, huh? And proud of it, too.

Ingo then added all we do not have is time here in Australia – and got a very blank look from Grace, who, above all the weird ordering thought of thyme. Big LOL!

We sure can get lost in translation, huh? (and yes, I did see that movie at least).

Do I go further with a Jägermeister and how little is really in there?
Hi to Sami, too, here, btw. Her Son was born where it´s produced. It´s exactly 13 km from our doorstep.
Hope he liked his J&aumlgermeister ;-)

Love is in the air, huh?

Love, btw, yep, guess those people who work here do:

And, as said a couple of weeks ago, I do look on the ground more:

But also Ingo runs around with eyes wide open, he made me go back in again:

If it says ATM is is ATM...

Fun idea, huh?

Time runs way too fast here! Thanks again, Grace and Pat for a wonderful morning and a yummy lunch.
And the left-overs that we forgot in your car!

Later we went to our Shopping center and took a first pic... just a pic, my, Vegemite (and Marmite???) gets more popular, huh?

For dinner we went to Subway btw.
As usual I wanted my half (see a pattern here? See blog´s title) with no sauce :-)

No-no´s we are at times, huh?

Well, see you, Andr3az!

It certainly was a fun morning Iris, especially when ordering lunch :) you noticed so much more than me on the trip!

I bet you´d notice much more than me if you were here as well, Grace :-) On holidays you just are a sponge, no?

What a pity I was so sick, I missed so many fun things!
Love that ATM!
To you had some laughs at my expense, huh, no problem, it was a funny story, I still laugh with that too.

Yes, of course my son loved the mini Jagermeister bottle you brought for him.

Yes, so sad you could not join us, Sami - bet you´d laughed with us (otherwise I´d never told that story).
Hope your Son also tried the Jägermeister, I reckon it must be yummy.
Ingo also saw a "loo" as an ATM, maybe I find a pic (sooo many pics to go through! Now mine, later Ingo´s).

Hahahaha, that LOO is sensational!!! Was it a public loo? One day I may get to see it for myself :D

Love your beach pics - I went to Perth for the first time when I was very young, but only for work since then, so I'll have to be a tourist myself one day! LOOking forward to catching some new loos - hope you have plenty more!!

I reckon it was public, but we didn´t really go have a look...
Only one or two more to come - but you can see rolling loos here, in the last video :-)

Oh, Perth has changed soooo much and is so worth a visit, Red!
