Great Scott! We Have The Key!

Dr. E. Brown, huh? Shall we? Or...

And take off? When would you go with "OUT-A-TIME"?
Please, tell me!

(OK, that´s but in my ole shelf I built in ... 1994?)
I cannot decide... Meet my parents again or see if my Nieces have children?
What would you do?

(Just don´t read the part of "REPLICA", let´s pretend it´s real).

GREAT SCOTT - I have a key for real!!

I still had such a key fob in my Australia-stash, and I always have my Patrol key with me so... I finally added it - was "about time"!

The key reads "ilco AUSTRALIA".
Oh, this was the best road trip ever taken, back in 1999 - maybe I would take the DELOREAN right there. To Madeley / Perth and pick up "him", our NISSAN PATROL LWB:

Pic taken the day he was sold (to my German mind cars are male. They transport and protect us).
Usually he looked like this:

A bit dirty, spare tire and two jerry cans on top.
We didn´t have a Flux capacitor after all...
You always have to have enough gas, right.
Sometimes he got hungry in the middle of nowhere after all...

Henry 🦁

"As always I take care... Ingo comes up with the coolest pressies after all!"

To "when" would you go?

Love the model and love your baby too. To me, any reliable car will do as long as it can take me places. My car is an old baby.

Old babies are the best :-)

My cars have always been male and had names. Hubbell (my first love a 1979 Mustang), Halsey, Swamp Thing, TARDIS, GIF, Moose. For the most part, reliable and always got me where I needed to be

Ingo, yes, that was 2006, a sweet veteran.

Tom, yes, that would be fun!

CJ, owwww, cute. Was Moose a Mercedes? Here the A class was laughed about cause a moose could trip it over!

Funny how some trips stand out. And there may not be any one reason either. I wish international travel would be a go now. Not sure about how it would be, if you got sick while there. So I am waiting. But not particulary patiently either! Have a great end of the work week Iris. hugs-Erika

I've been intrigued by your job of sorting out differences between American and British English. I find it very complicated. I thought of you when I read the following article and its comments, about the differing usage in the two variants of English. (Note that the source is a blog by top professional linguists, so it's very reliable).

I miss road trips! Maybe someday we'll get another chance. We'll hope the car is still reliable by then.

Road trips for me these days is a bus trip. Love it, it's free and I can watch the scenery go by. Leave the driving to the bus drivers, relax and enjoy. Enjoy the weekend, Iris.

So many places to go back to -- but mostly, it's go back in time to see the people I love and who are no longer here.

Travel seems so impossible these days. I would go back to Sweden with my mother.

It feels like travel is so far away.

I would go back in time and spend a day with my grandparents who raised me from birth. Nice car. I remember several times you telling us about your Australian trip. I'm sure it was memorable.

I wish I could give you key and car!
