Brothers can sometimes be so confusing, and annoying, and wonderful too, can't they?
I have heat resistant ones almost to my elbows for the oven, and smaller ones without the extra insulation for the microwave, because those dishes do get hot. Plastic doesn't get hot in the micro, but I use proper dishes. My long oven gloves are badly worn, but I can't find any nice ones to replace them. They are all boring plain red or black or grey and not quite long enough. I used to have some of the square holders, but prefer the gloves.

Yes, boring dark grey, but safe!!! And for big people, hence they really nearly reach my elbow.
