OK, wait till the end, stop searching, OK?
We´re back at Caversham Wildlife Park.... Join me - and Sami, who took me there, if you like...
Even if.... (not a "gentleman")...
The fish to the right, hmmmm, the carer tried a couple of times, but neither wanted it.
I wonder. Sick, that fish, too old?
This is for ....
Eileen :-)

...those pelican are HUGE!
Petting zoos and interactive wildlife zoos are fun for all ages! Were you really in the enclosure with those huge birds?
They probably would have eaten the fish if it was beer-battered, deep fried, and served with fries (chips)
That looks like a super fun day!
Those are really large birds, Iris. I had no idea they were so big.
Tom, yes, not to play with!
____
Mae, nonono, we stood outside! But once one "chased" me in Monkey Mia.... boy, they are also QUICK!

RedPat, yes, not funny when one is free and comes at you! I ran (that was 1995)
Hello Iris :=)
Can you pet a Pelican? I think I would be too scared. It must have been fun to watch them being fed.
1995 a pelican went after me in the wild. They are fast! This was safe fun :-)
Fun to see the pelicans getting fed. They really are wild!
They look like they are well ready for their meal, can't say I blame them, fish for dinner is good.
Wow, what a large birds! I love the begin and also the end of your blogpost. Visting via Eileen.
Would you believe a few pelicans showed up in landlocked West Virginia last November? They were blown off course by a hurricane. Some friends have a raptor rescue center and helped get the birds back on their way.
I looked for ages trying to spot the critter and you tricked me!
I remember being at Mandurah with my brother R and his wife V where pelicans were walking around trying to get food from the picnicking people.
Those pelicans look hangry!
Very nice!!!!
I love pelicans. This was a fun post Iris. I hope they got lots of fish to eat. hugs-Erika
