Boy, am I lucky my Dad was an optometrist, cause that is where my name is from, part of the retina.
Iris-scan, you know, that "stuff". My Mum was never happy with this.
Now I meet it in railway, too, darn it, Dad!!!
This, Sami, as your J sure knows, stands for "International Railway Industry Standard".
Which also goes for "my" turquoise tram in Frankfurt, of course.

I have green eyes, think the last time I had an exam like that was over 10 years ago, I usually don't have any issues with them except needing reading glasses but that's about it.
