Who btw says German is always longer and more complicated than English?! Just as a side note.

They have dangerous, exhausting jobs and the money they get for that, pfffft.
So yes, give them that!
I get money for sitting at the PC and the most dangerous thing that can happen is that my teamleader rips my head off virtually or that I lose my job.
What you sometimes see in the news what these "uniform wearers" have to endure...

Yes that's right, it's exactly the same here. People behaving scandalously and earning too little
It's the same everywhere. People risking their lives to help/save others and getting paid very little.
Bertiebo, yes drugs and all. In Perth they have security in the hospital even.

A 3 in 1 car! Yes the law enforcement agency is poorly paid here too.
The 3 in 1 sign is great. I think Police, ambulance people, nurses and teachers are poorly paid all over the world.

Cutbacks in the Garda always leads to more crime, drugs, etc. They are understaffed, underpaid and not appreciated. A lot of murders have been happening around the urban areas this year. Should be more protection for the people but not enough money to pay for it so they say. Sad!
Our service providers are definitely underpaid, and often under appreciated, much of which is due to our last administration in the states.
Our police and doctors get paid well but the ambulance people deserve more than they get.
You're right. There's the police person that does traffic and the one that has to go on chases or confront the bad guys. I suspect most are paid the same.
I'm guessing they make house calls.
