The journal:
Monday: Took the tram to main train-station and hopped on the Flix Bus - no changing trains with all the luggage in Hanover, simply through to Frankfurt.
The hotel tried to use a male and a female robot in the restaurant, which was good for some laughs.
Tues-/ Wednesday : Frankfurt > Singapore was a pain with a fat guy praying before eating but otherwise being rude taking in a big part of my seat for 13 hours.
Singapore: 2 1/2 hours to look around then mega-great seating with just the two of us with much space and at the window. Food super-crap.
Perth: We got straight through with our luggage, skipped the loooong line :-)
Thanks to Sami we knew Transperth is now connected to the airport.
Got a train to Perth straight, went underground and #1 direction Joondalup came right in. Warwick bus #450 was already waiting.
Caravan staff were super-friendly, we got the cabin I booked, some new furniture but the good, ole hole in the wall is still there.
Needed sneakers-socks and at BigW simply asked a female shopper as there was no staff which is the correct size, which turned into a nice chat.
Telstra has closed in our SC, gah, internet...nada...
From 0C to 40C...
Thursday: Jetlag, Ingo not well (food Singapore Airlines?), me fully awake. Went outside onto the stairs of the porch to be. In the middle of the night.
Reminded me of Jamaica. Neighbor was outside, car-door open, same song silently playing endlessly. For over an hour. He went inside, repeat. Mossies turned up, I went inside again.
Reminded me too much of "Wolfe Creek", a horror 2-part movie playing around Wolf Creek. Ingo gave more airline-food "away'...

After a walk through the oven, some 42C.
Then outside the ravens were chatting.
Friday: Now I understand you guys!! TV was on, as lights, and Uroppa (Great-Grandfather-Aussie-Lenovo).
BOOM. All out. Power gone!! A first in my life!!! It was around 9 a.m.
Went to the reception, got a car ride and sure as hell wanted to hop in on the right!!!
Hello!!! This is Australia!!! Left side!!!
And now I know where the power supply for our cabin is and how to fix this! And I am allowed to do this on my own, too.
We hit THE HEAT WAVE, of course, and Ingo is not coping well.To 42C from 0C.

Ingo is better, yippee! To health and dragons! And to warmth - we needed an extra-blanket....
What a relief that Ingo is feeling better. I love that cooler with the roo on it. And of course, any drink is acceptable.
LOVE your dragon. It is awesome. And of course, I LOVE black swans because we don't have them here. Ask Sami. She knows how much I love them.

The dragon looked so cute! Usually we have Singapore, so this was a treat.
Sadly I bought cheap crayons....
I saw a black swan swimming among the native birds in Cape May a few years ago — it was probably and escaped pet as they can’t fly around the world. They are really neat. I think the financial guy whose book was named after black swans was an idiot — he though they didn’t exist. (He may have been an idiot for other reasons too, who knows?)

Yay! Glad you are in your second home and that Ingo is feeling better. I only fly Qantas to Australia so I can't speak for the food on Singapore airlines but Qantas is usually pretty decent. 42C !!! I'm glad you arrived and are settling. It does take awhile to adjust to any time change but you'll be fine. Hope Ingo is OK soon. That's a long haul!
