Green Is As Green Does
.. or My Bro Can See The Future
Ages ago, my dear Bro brought me this T-shirt as a souvenier (from Teneriffa, I think). You know, back then, when Forrest Gump was the hype.
(You can click to enlarge, as always - it says ... well like the title, huh?)

And... now I just love the color green!
Went to Aldi today to look for salad (it´s too cold for butterhead lettuce, they said. They only have iceberg lettuce which is full of organic pollutant (they didn´t say that), so I don´t buy it).
Got my Strawberry-water and went to the cash out.
And there I saw it. All alone, the last one! Poor thingy! I fell in love at an instant! And it was my size, too!!!
Then I remembered what my friend (for Ingo: friendeene *) said to me the other day. She said I´m always so intensive with colors. She reminded me of my (uhhh, I admit it) pink-phase.
Then came the red one - which is still going on - and now the green one. (Luckily the pink one was very short).
So, I gave it a thought. For some 30 secs. Grabbed it and went to the check-out-girl.
(was down from 29 to 15 €, too, which helped a lot making the decision)
Back home I tried it on.. YAY, fits! And the color just made me happy!
Especially on this rainy day!

I really saw people looking at me and turning on smiles when we went to the city afterwards! Maybe it was the light green, promising the temps we should have. Maybe it was cause my glasses and earrings were green as well.
Back home I found our washing-machine-frog trying to peek round the corner:

See how far my Bro looked into the future????
Awesome, huh???
* We met some nice guys from Canada in Cuba, Mother and Daughter, both adult.
The Daughter kept telling about what she did with her friend - seemed like it was always different ones and since it was irrelevant she skipped names.
So, I kept disrupting (to make a picture in my head), male or female?
She then asked if we have a difference for that.
Yes! Freund (male) - Freundin (female).
Within a sec she came up with "friedeene" for the female part.
Yes. She loves The Simpsons just as we do, diddly-hobbily-hibbily-gobbily - ceating new words! On the run! ;-)

3 baitBait Bites:
Cute jacket! We don't have Aldis here, but I totally wish we did. Love it! (I think we're talking about the same discount grocery store?)
I love, love, love the coat! I'm not intense about colour - except black, because that's pretty much the only colour I wear. That said, the girl-child's closet is almost exclusively pink and that's all my fault! LOL
Allie, yes, I think so :-)
Were two Brothers from Essen, Germany.
Karl and Theo Albrecht who opened their first discount shop in 1913!
Now Aldi is spread all over the world!
:-)) Red Dirt Mummy! Black! huh, you´re like my SIL, she´s all into black (and white), too. In our long, dark winters I find that rather depressing!
And isn´t it terribly hot in dark clothes in your hot sun over there?!
