Make a wish...
(Yes, everybody grabbed her ti#s! And, why ever, the nose...)
Last scene of flat-sharing, 3-guys, as in two men and me:
When I got my first real job I did go the safe way and went into flat-sharing again.
It turned into a pain.
Found this note in front of my door.
Luckily there was also my name on it!
It reveals "someone" called at 07:00 p.m..
(Fouton was the bed at night)
Aha. Asked him, WHO??? He could not remember the name (but the exact time!!).
Mind you. Each month he got money from me. And my Brother shares the surname with me.
Yes. It was my Brother.
Once I found a one-cent-piece in front of my door.
He took two tomatoes from me... Payed in cash!
Whoa! I payed too much at the store!
Just yesterday I met W.
All was in my backpack, but the fragile tomatoes, I held in my left hand.
W opened the door for me and mentioned how insanely expensive tomatoes have become.
Bit more than 1 cent.
Yes, that book was for "after work" - ASP (active server pages) - I WANTED to (and did) keep that job.
Marco, he heated a slice of bread in the huge oven.
Often!!!
I do "baking galores" cause our ovens take so long to heat up!
He even had a title...
Hung his bathing-trousers inside-out in the shower to dry.
Drove.Me.Nuts!!!
Singing, playing guitar and harmonica in the next room 10+ p.m.
It was WAR. (I got up 6:something a.m.)
BAD...
"I´m back, see you soon"?!
Mama, help me!
The other was nice. I found e-mails he wrote to my work-place, saying he goes grocery-shopping, asking if I need something, calling me Highness (as my surname is translated "Emperor").
He finished studying, in came a woman who made me move out. She was terrible, loud and... it all was hers anyways.
Bye-bye...
Ingo took also that without saying a word (or... not often).
Henry 🦁
"You didn´t pay much attention to me in the first years!!!"
Sorry, Henry. It was overwhelming with again a weekend-relationship!
And worse.
P.S. - I still have the 1970´s ton (Ingo´s), Emil (the IKEA kid´s chair) and the very super-practical table!

...do you still have the rug? I like it.
A futon must be hard to sleep on after a while. But in a little room, it works the best. I like your rug too, and there's that chair you only recently replaced. Yes? Happy rest of your weekend. hugs-Erika
A comfy little space you made yourself. At that stage of my life, I could never live with roommates. They would have driven me insane.
that was a beautiful room. Clean, neat, and a ton of plants. I actually like the futon. They make great space savers.
That was a very nice looking room.
I remember the smell of the old floor with the Sphinx. Seems like coming home. (Never thought we ounce live here in the "City of Henry")
I love that room! It's so pretty and colourful, an artist lives there :)
Everything is expensive.
Coffee is on and stay safe.
Tom, the rug made it to my first one-room-apartment and that was that then.
It was truly worn and I was sad to have to let go...
It says thank you!

Erika, when Ingo was sick (much later) he spent every night on that fouton cause the head could be up.
Memories.
Emil is to my right side still :-) Hugs!

CJ, roommates would truly drive me nuts these days ;-)

Elizabeth, thank you. IKt was a pain ;-) No idea how I could stay there that long!

Bill, nice but thankfully long ago! And to never turn back...

Ingo, maybe a new start would be good. Minus roommates.

River, thank you. Oh, I was into anything but art back then. But reckon you are right. A bit was still there...

Dora, I sadly have to agree...
Looks cozy. I like your color choices :)
I like your room with all those plants. Yes, goodbye to bad room mates.
Divers and Sundry, thank you. The blue was in there, not my choice. Next came my colleague and presented me with a hanging closet. Blue. Then my boss. I needed a car and let him chose. Blue. I don´t like blue... It makes me feel blue (kidding!).
