I won´t set this on fire, though! So actually I recycled only for "good looking" - much better than trying to warm me up in a condo full of wooden floors, what do you think?

I remember sharpening my coloured pencils, then collecting all the tiny bits of colour into a pile and using my finger to swirl it all over the paper, sometimes it looked good, sometimes it didn't. It was a very short phase in my life.

VERY clever way to recycle Iris. I love this! If you could spray glue down those shavings it would be framable as is. I love it. Thanks for sharing with us at AJJ. Hope your arms are feeling better today. hugs-Erika

This is SO impressive, Iris. A fabulous example of the vanishing point, which in this case is in the center of the pencils. A wonderful way to recycle and a great entry for Bleubeard's and my theme at Art Journal Journey.
I saw an artist that used one of the pencil shavings on the paper and then doodling around it to create something. Like one of the pencil shavings looked like wings so he drew a butterfly

As a kid we used to melt crayons to make rainbows of different colours. It was fun and messy.

We used candles, big ones and then sliced off the colours when they were soft.
That's a very creative and artistic use of pencil sharpenings!
