A skull is a face, right, so with this I join Nicole with FFO.
Brewed with love in Hamburg since 1909.
This was from this beer can:
And Annie´s Smiles?
Spoiled ones have a reason to smile, no?
The seal and seashells Ingo came home with for no reason 🥰
Pressies never for "special dates" but when we see something and Ingo knows I miss the ocean.
But see the ugly price tag? Needed to get rid of that and what better place to store the shells in my sea-teapot&cup-streetfind?!
It says "BS" for BraunSchweig, our town, on the bottom (OK, no idea what it stands for but fun idea, huh?).
Next, as I am not to go shopping (groceries, or anything with my arm) - I got this:
Yesterday, btw I saw in my lunch-break (I work from home) an episode of "Last man standing".
Mike (played by Tim Allen 😘) hates Valentine´s Day and any other commercially "happy day" with presents.
A
huge bouquet of flowers arrives in their house that day. They have
three more or less grown daughters. Guess the confusion! What man sent
the flowers?!
Spoiler-alert - skip this if you don´t know and wanna see for yourself, here goes:
It was Mike! For his wife.
Because: She knows he hates these days so it´s a real surprise he does it anyways!
"Logic".
Let´s hope Ingo does not turn into Mike Baxter cause flowers on these days are extra-expensive... And I would rather be mad, hence.
Though once Ingo came home with a frozen heart-shaped pizza for that day.
Some funnies:
Hope my Nieces will wear dresses then!
Henry 🦁
And two posts again, if you care click here. It´s about "Straya".

LOVE the ship in your drawing!
Taht second skeleton with the man with the jeans way down so low, he might as well not wear them! How on earth does he manage to walk properly? Couldn't run for a bus without falling over either.
River!!!! I never thought so far - you are right! They cannot run in these trousers.
Oh, now I wanna chase the next one I see!!! LOL! You have me laughing here (and it´s only 06:30 am, the neighbors must think I am nuts - and annoying (OK I can laugh quietly)).
Nice ceramics display. Don't know why the younger generation doesn't know how to pull up their pants. Lol!
Nancy, yes, well said with the pants!
Hi Iris, I wonder if men don't like these special days because they are so forgetful and are afraid they might miss them, it's possible. The shell Teapot is gorgeous. I collect teapots and it would have to have come home with me even though I don't know where I would put it now. Have a very happy weekend. Hugs, Angela xxx
Angela, I am the one who forgets..!
No, we both love surprises out of the blue :-)
That also shows you think of what the other likes no matter what day. Happy weekend and hugs xxx
I love the idea of surprise gifts especially as all the 'special' days are so over-commercialised. Ingor is very thoughtful.
Aren't the dropped jeans aweful and as others have said, how on earth do they walk around in them?
Great drawing of skull and ship. Kate x
...skeleton of our future kids, thanks fo the laugh!!!
I'm pleased to say my hubby buys me flowers just because they are so very expensive on special days....and I love it.
I love your funnies because if I see someone wearing those trousers I always want to pull them up for them and tuck them in lol
Hugs,
Annie x
Kate, I so agree, and sometims I find something for him, too :-)
I remember the 1980´s weren´t nice, either, fashion-wise, but not THAT bad! x
____
Tom, awful, isn´t it! Am I glad I am old...
____
Annie, why do you give me such an idea?! The next I see I might pull the trousers up for real!!! LOL!
Oh, help! Hugs x
Haha....of course the skull is a face - Nicole uses them for the Face Off all the time.
The flowers are lovely, enjoy them.
Ohh I love this art work and the can it comes from. So very cool. I have never watched the last man standing. I just don't understand the pant thing. I mean seriously do girls of this age group think this is attractive? Very nice to get the flowers. Have a wonderful weekend.
Yes skull is a face an eerie one. Have a great day it is warming up here
Oh those trousers make me smile. I was once in a shop selling jeans. I am short and a small size. I was looking at jeans that looked small, but the salesperson came over to me and said, madam, these are jeans with a low crotch. I doubt you would want one of these....
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca
Gene, yes, but I´m not sure others see skulls as faces, too, and might be offended...
Oh, the flowers get brown already!
____
Nicole, Last Man Standing is really funny and from real life. Like Tool Time (also with Tim Allen).
I will have to as my 13-year old Niece if she thinks those pants are attractive! I hope she says no!!!!
____
Christine, yay for your weather warming up!
____
Lisca, you had me laughing here!

Bertiebo, Hamburg is Hanse, there were pirates and they have often skulls as sign :-)
I love surprise gifts. Even better than ones on special occasions - the surprise makes it so good.
I saw a guy yesterday with pants almost that low. I don't know how he could climb stairs.
I don't feel old because those pants down below their buns is plain stupid. At school I told so many kids to pull up their pants or pull down their shirts. How do you walk in them? And I love your pirate drawing today. ARRRGH, it is a good one. Happy weekend. hugs-Erika
It's always great to get unexpected presents. And kids here are NOT all owed to wear their pants like that in school.
RedPat, YES and LOL. What else to say?!
____
Erika, you sure did a good point with both as teacher!!! LOL.
Thank you, Ingo instantly bought more beer. Hugs
____
Elizabeth, I do not know about school. Here it´s more young adults with those stupid pants!!
Oh you remind me of the days when we would go to the Flea Market ... oh the things we would come home with thinking that we loved them. And, some of them we did love, others, on the other hand, should have stayed at the Flea Market. I love your funnies ... they are funny! And we just finished watching Picard's last season ... sorry to see him end his career, but glad he spent some more time with us.
A Dreamy Eyed Henri ... you have to wonder what "happy days" are to him.
I did your second post with your old car adventures ... high temperatures in old cars is not a good thing ... been there, done that :( Fun times anyway ...
