Our Bread

This is it: - Together with a "slicing machine"):

And this is what Ingo just made of it - YUM!!!

See? To the Perth-bloggers: Together with hot coffee :-) For how-to-make see last post - plus I just made some pics of the "making-of" I will present as an animated .gif (I have to do this at home - so the 4th next year the earliest) - yummy, believe me. Or visit us, Ingo will make one for you :-)
Healthy and yummy!
We go shopping now.

Back/Happy New Year

We´re back. I was happy to see my Mom who picked us up from train station Seesen - after a ca. 30-hour-journey.

(But it was so sad to have to go. Who knows when we can come back??? (This is not an "if"!))

(Start 09:10 in Landsdale to Perth train station via good ole Transperth where you say "thank you!" to the driver, by foot to No. 37 Transperth at William Street crn Georges Trc to domestic airport, then via free Qantas-shuttle to international airport [meeting Rodney and his family {after sadly missing a further meetup with Deanne - thanks there are no more people involved, the signs to fit them in go out...}] - I come to this later - to Singapore with 2 1/2 hours stop (with free internet access to put some e-mails on).. hey! a pic from winter... ehm... SUMMER... christmas! in Perth (please click to enlarge... the emphases is on the blue sky, though!!!):

Then from Singapore to Frankfurt... a horrible guy behind me bumping in my seat, snoring and what ever didn´t let me sleep.

Next pic - Ingo doesn´t smoke - he just breathes!!!

ACK!!! It´s "bloody" cold here!!!

Via train to Goettingen. To Kreiensen, to Seesen. With my Mom to Rhueden, fetching my car from Ingo´s Grandma. Getting Ingo´s car from his friend in Bornhausen. Buying something to eat, being greeted "Good morning" at around noon (they do so here in the village) - to us it was evening!
Have something to eat, a shower, try to stay up as long as possible, watching the DVDs we brought. Sleeping in the living room, since thats the only warm room here!

Getting up at 05:00 am (feeling like noon), watching all the pics we took (sorry to Rodney - though I had my cam with me, I was to nervous to take pics! But Rodney and his wife, Pauline, did, you can see it here (his children look in reality way younger than on the pics... and they behave like grown-ups! And his wife was a pleasure to talk to, too :-)!)

Well. I´m going to visit my family as soon as they get up - oups. 3 hours left ´til then... we have to buy food since tomorrow it´s already New Years Eve!!!

So. I´m not sure how and where (flickr?) to present the pics taken, but I will...

Go for a coffee now! (Rodney and Deanne: Here a coffee warms me up and I like to have one. In Perth, iced coffee and orange juice or water was it! :-)...)
Ingo makes a coffee now and a real bread with salami, cheese, radish and tomatoe and special spices - everyone is invited to taste real bread here - the only thing I missed in beatuiful Perth!

Happy New Year to everey one!!!!

14 kilo

That´s how much our luggage is. We go with one trolly-suitcase.

In no time we gonna change the leaveless trees and the greyish, cold weather against SUMMER, yay!

My dear brother went to buy the stuff I forgot and is soon on the way to bring us to the train station.
Aw. First time I´m not with my family for christmas. This is the only negative thing about it, though. Perth, we´re on our way! Not even 45 minutes now.

Queen

We don´t come with empty hands to Perth, we bring the Queen in - I still got 45,00$ left from 1999 (click to enlarge).
I just wonder... why she´s only on the note the less worth... the cheapest, so to say.

2 hours to go now.

Holiday

So in a few hours we´re off to Perth. I won´t be blogging (much?) since internet is rather expensive there.
We´ll be there in about 36 hours, see you :-)

Good genes

I started the day slowly. packed stuff, made sure the smoke detector and fridge are off. Went to Rossmann, a store beneath my gym. I had my sports-stuff with me but was too nervous to have fun there, so I went home.
Grabbed my gear, hopped in the car, drove to my family. Headache started. Bad headache. Got sick. Felt bad. Sat down in my family place.
Then...
Thanks, my dear father, for the good genes. After letting my lunch out (even through my nose - that hurts! Acid it really is, that comes from the stomach) I´m fine again.

Ready to go. Am I? Nervous. But fine again.
I remember my father. He had to leave early one morning and made breakfast - all by himself. He took the pan... my Mum had put detergent in it to make it easier to clean.
My father put it on the stove, hit the egg in there, fried it, ate it, thought, hm, tastes kind of strange, went away, got sick, stopped, puked and went on with business life.
"Horse-stomach" it´s translated word by word - and that´s what I got, too :-)
Am fine again! :-)
Great to be able to post at any time! Huhh, really late, good night, sleep tight!

Atoms

Two atoms go for a walk. Says one atom: "Damn, I just lost an electron!" - Says the other, "see, it´s positive." :-)) Hehe.
We heard this one in "Men in White", a documetary-show.

Village

We went to buy food and drink for the journey to Frankfurt tomorrow. When we came back to Ingo´s car there was another car parked right in front.
The motor was running and there was no one near by!
We could have easily hopped in and drive away!
Ingo reckoned the driver probably went in to do some shopping or might be at the stand where you get hot chicken take-away.

Either way. We could have taken the car. Ingo: "This is village".

Certainly it wasn´t such a car as shown above. It was an old one and certainly closed; we are down to 6 °C...
