HEnry Is All "E" (?)

I had a project with a colleague at ESE:

Company Fortescue in WA planned - we had a contract already, which then was never signed - to transport iron ore from the mines near Tom Price all the way "down" to Port Headland via Licium Batteries, empty - the batteries...

 

By arrivial, their dream, those batteries are fully charged and after onloading the freight ready to go "green" back up to Tom Price.

 

First try for help: a famous company in GB, who said "no".

 

mM and I did research and I said: no.

 

Ingo and I saw such a train for real in WA in 1999:

3km long - we had to wait, they go at ca. 30km/h - took forever.

My concerns: 

 

a) the energy to start a heavy train like that!!!

b) Pilbara: HOT - HOT - HOT!

c) on iron rails: more HOT

d) heat and batteries, one goes kaaaa-booom and in no time the whole set explodes.

 

Yes. At that "speed" the staff can stop the train and run away. 

In the desert.

What if that happens in Port Headland??? 

 

No one wants to be responsible for that. In Perth I - too late this February - spotted the company, but what to do anyways?

 

 

Maybe our host´s Hubby, who also was into railway - has an idea?

 

Wish of Fortescue: At least one has to be willing to pop by in person once in a while.

ME!!! mM not, but ME! So YES!

How has Tom Price changed since 1999??? I´d land in Perth, visit our friends and... oh!!!

Nope.

We were too convincing, the technology is not "ripe" yet.

It would be a project in... brrrrr ... Norway! An old German train, refurbished and back on track.

Have done this before - FUN! Interesting, engineering art!

I was... naked. Maybe cause I was so cold all night?

 

There was a woman, a bit younger than me, also naked and. She.Wanted.To.Get.Inside!!!! 

 

I HATE those real-life dreams. 

 

I yelled for help, no one heard me, she looked at me, mad.

I pulled myself together, said, "OK, come on in, won´t help if we yell."

 

And, like that sketch-girl above she suddenly was nice.

When a girl (well, married already) get´s my for-free DVDs to make sure to watch in the original BECAUSE of the quotes being correct, then I can´t be wrong!

T STands For WOAH!

 

I tried so many sorts of water. None is even halfway close to the yummy one they had in hospital. Frustrating. So, with this un-yummy one I join Elizabeth´s T (still better than from the tab and it has a Henry on it).

Monday: Of course. 08:30 app at the eye-doc. Ready to be there at 07:30. Well, better this way than too late. Was done at 11. Two docs saw me in a hurry.

Not my year. An eye-OP is due. I´m pretty scared. "I´ll sign you sick for a week then." - "No!!!! I don´t want to, I gotta work!"

Looked at me. ... ... "You are the first (!) who does NOT want to get signed sick!!!"

They have an extra-day, Friday so I have the weekend to heal. 

 

 

Tuesday: Some books found a new owner. More clothes sorted. Started with my back-training - FINALLY!

 

Wednesday: Near to no itching at night - am I through "fighting" the medication?

A woman kneeling behind the fence, taking care of some plants. When I passed she looked up, I looked down and we gave a cheery hello.

No, I don´t know her :-) I kept on smiling for a while. 

Bro called!!! (pssst, don´t tell Ingo - 3 hours) - good news: Bro´s not mad I did and will go to optometrist-chain Fielmann! 15 minutes 1 way on foot instead of 1 1/2 hours 1 way via public transport to him!

 

Thursday: Went to REWE. There is a huge crack in the cycle path.

E-scooter-driver one: WOAH! Number two directly behind, WOAH!!! I giggled my way home. Was like being in a comic... An echo...

 Bro called again. We talked till 3. Yes, a.m. ... I am too old for this! 

But it was very interesting!

He remembered things from a very young age. Stuff I put far, far away. Glad I only know it now and cannot tell my Dad off. How can one "forget"?! How can those long-forgotten memories come back to Bro´s mind suddenly?!

Can you relate???? 

 

Friday: Squeezed my but# out off bed shortly before 8. Bro slept in. I am the old(er) one!  

One more call, Bro, SIL and I got "the problem" solved, phew. 

Watched Hitchcock´s "Birds". By golly. We were afraid of THIS? And... it´s crows. Close-ups: sea-gulls... Hmm, what?! 

Got Pizza from Smileys, YUM. 

 

Weekend: Saturday: Ingo made yummy food, Savoy Cabbage à la GDR.

Sunday: Die Maus and "Hänsel und Gretel" as very scary fairytale.

And yes, of course... there´d be others, maybe of French origin or... pffft, who knows? Who cares?

And... isn´t that a nice contrast to the small Austrian man who started you-know-what from Germany we still get accused of by many?

Our bus driver in Tuscany sometimes even went to the side so peeps could overtake... 

 

What would you do... hop in and off to freedom, to the wide, dusty, red land?

Sleep in the car, take a solar-shower wherever you are - sit on folding chairs and watch... yes watch the bright night sky?

No light-pollution, the Southern Cross... bliss!

This is "the other being rich"...   

 

One sad thing that happened to me:

Dongara. Neighbourhood-watch in the middle of the night saved us, knocking on our car-window asking us to follow them, flood was rushing in!! 

 

Next morno a huge road-train stood Right.Beside.Us!!!!!

The driver was out of his mind, losing so much money being stuck.

 

Why. Just why didn´t I take all my courage, offer an EMU (cold beer) and maaaaybe he´d showed me his truck and maybe he´d let me drive a few metres....

 

Do you have such missed opportunities, too?

No Nothing

 

So I called the hospital. "Due to sickness we cannot take your phone call - write us an e-mail."

No response. Tummy hurts, full of liquid again and I´m afraid.

 

I am to get my as# out and go to work.

 

I don´t know what hurts more.

I "have" the job just when??? 

 

Economy is down  - EVERYWHERE!!!!!!! 

I am desperate. 

 

Sorry, this needed to get out. 

All my drinks in my little corner here, too.

II feel lonely and forgotten. 

 

What would I give to be healthy and start my job 06:00 a.m....  

Dentist only tomorrow, why not my tongue falls off soon. 

 

Darn life.  Sorry, I feel bad and this must get out, too...

I had a (plastic) skateboard. I went so fast on a road downhill where cars drive, the wheels started to spin and I luckily flew off to the right in the grass.

One reason I have no kids! 

 

Snacks, though?! Make yourself a slice of bread or eat an apple!

 

Gosh. I am old.

And I am thankful for that, too. I am a happy kid of the early 70s. 

 

Would you like to be a kid now?

That would really interest me!

LOL, doorbell. Now I´m just "Flavia?" How did this happen?

 

 

Yes. Buzz is "too tall".  But he´s from Maccas, Toy Story 1 from my Brother and these three are from Mattel.

 

 

If I was ever to meet Tom Hanks I´d had to pull myself together not calling him "Woody"!!!

Which happens to him often!

 

OK, let´s get started, I brought this from Perth:

 

 

Because in Germany so far I only found sugar and salt!
 

 

 

OK, all ready for the finale!!

 

Because... it´s raining outside Bonnie´s room!

 

 

Let me tell you. This is not for kids.

If I´d watched this as a kid I would´ve cried and at times screamed in fear (de facto I once did "scream"!) 

 

Bonnie drops Woody into her drawer. He´s out.

He´s sad, but when he learns Bonnie´ll have her fist day at kindy, and she is very scared - he decides she needs support and sneaks into her backpack!

And takes secretly care of her, throwing art-stuff on her table where she sits by herself.

She makes a toy.

 

 ...out of a fork that is scared and thinks he´s trash and runs for every bin he finds. Woody really has a hard time to get him back always cause Bonnie LOVES her "Forky"!

It takes Woody ages to make it clear he´s a loved toy!

The family goes on a roadtrip... woah, scary!

 

 Woody in a second hand shop see´s Belle´s lamp and sneaks in and the crazyness begins.

 

 

It´s an up and down, scary, wild, hilarious! Dangerous!

 

 

 Yes. Meet the new sheriff!

 

Woody made a decision.

 

 The former enemies in a deep hug!

 

 

 

And Bonnie makes him a girlfriend.

 

 

Toy Story 4 ends with Buzz driving away saying,,, "To infinity..." and Woody on the carousel finishing, "... and beyond".

I can´t wait till #5 is out on DVD! 

Cause by no means will I watch it without Tom Hanks and Tim Allen!  

Both were with me "always" - I loved "Tool Time" and most of the movies with Tom Hanks.
