Monday: 14C / 57F. "Rising" to 17C /62F. Just yet such a "Summer" again. Cloudy.

Ingo still signed sick, fE on holiday for 3 weeks. BIG NEWS: I´m on hold! (Irony)

Back a bit better and I start cleaning. Slowly!!!

And I got the most romantic pressie from Ingo: An itch healer against insect bites - loaded via usb - now all we need is: Summer.

Cause you know. They try Ingo once and then.... me. Just me. I get all the bites.

 

Tuesday: Back a bit better, yippeeee...  went to REWE. New guy at the self-cash-out, young. 

I said hello and he smiled!   When ready I said, good bye, got another smile, see, so easy, two people happy.

How´s it like in your place? Do people greet? I think I´m one of the few, sadly...

It does not hurt to be friendly!!

 

Wednesday: 14C /57F - really, July?! Ingo went to the doc in a jacket! And will drive to work tomorrow. When they nag him he´ll be clear.

I cleaned bath and toilet and kaboom... back is back.

Ingo suggested I have a herniated disc - did an online test and thankfully could say "no" to so much, I don´t think I have that. Also learned - MOVE. Slowly, but DO.

Option: Wait for an app with the home-doc I don´t trust and wait forever for an MRI. 

 

Thursday: On.Hold.

 

    

Friday: Ingo grabbed me and we - slowly - went to the city and then to the steak house!!! Ingo had to help me but it was progress with eating and walking and my it was so yummy! Steak Mignon, hmmmm...

Got a job offer from a company who dropped me badly. Ingo said: "NO!" 

 

Weekend: Saturday: By accident I was in stripes, LOL. Underwear, PJ and T-Shirt all in stripes. The walking did my back real good. It took a while but I managed half a breadroll. Eating sure isn´t fun these days.

Evening: Balcony, sooooo good, Summer!

Sad: Muslim attack on Berlin's CSD. Go-HOME!!!

I think we skip ours... What´s wrong with those people?! Be and let be!

Sunday: Summer gone again. Ritual inside: Löwenzahn, Maus, fairy tale, talking. No BBQ. Brrrr....France, Spain? Fires. Evacuations. Huge ones. But people help one another.

And Russia won´t let go - what a sad world.

We skipped the salad and shared the potato. Old people....

They really have no kid´s menus!!! How is that even possible?!

July skipped Summer this year - again.16C/60F at lunch time ... no.

But here - from FB you can see how wonderful it can be here! 

Yes, that is an ordinary push-bike and yes, we are the second-largest city in Lower Saxony. 

 

 

Yips - Summer in Braunschweig. Back in the day we did this, too. Now with the crazy e-scooter people we skip. Two on one. Headphones on, not following the rules, coming from all sides.

Even as pedestrian you are in danger, let alone as car driver - it is always your fault then. Well... I´m still OK on foot!

Monday: Ummmm... my end is near? E-mail (I didn´t open it): "Burial in the North and Baltic Seas". Hang on - I hope I have a couple more years?!

Next: "Home emergency call system - immediate support in case of emergency" What did I miss??? And it´s only Monday! Hey, yes, my back hurts, but otherwise I´m still fine! 

Asked Ingo. He thinks I can do that super-duty job... eventually - will ask mT for further advice. Don´t wanna disappoint people who believe in me.

Why the heck do they do that?! 

 

Tuesday: mT said: "Germany suffers badly. Go for it at ESE, be honest, you CAN learn this stuff." Always good to be able to go back to your teamleader, if the last time he was there was 2018 in this role ("just" friends now). He´s still here!!! Ingo and fK in my back is good, too. On my back? mT said everyone is on holiday now, too. "Wait".

 

 

Wednesday: Started 17C then warming up - Summer seems to come back. Everyone signed sick or on holiday and no one can help me out - that darn company who shares ST4-tutorials needs a company-account. Hilarious. Watched Cast Away. Seemed fitting.

 

 

Thursday:   Bucket List I watched. What´s on yours? "Laugh until you cry"? 

"Kiss the most beautiful  girl in the world"? - Granddaughter it was. 

Other I kept lying down and stood the pain. It warmed up. Wanted to go to the city but just went grocery. We keep a distance - it hurts. Back, heart and mind hurt. I feel alone. Left behind. Not good enough. Job-wise... nothing, fK on holiday - I will not interrupt. My Brother - not a word.

 

 

Friday: Slept in again. Good for my back but I think it might be really a depression this time. I hear nothing job-wise. Ingo keeps silent, too. No worries I will NOT fall for any meds!

Please do NOT pity me! 

 

Crazy thing at FB for Braunschweig: BBQs forbitten in the parks due to the dry heat (well, "heat", but dry!). You are to save water, too... 21C /69F is not my idea of "heat"... OK might rise to 27C - "warm". 

So I decided to very slowly with my medical corset on walk to the city later - that is my anti depression tool. Didn´t happen. But I went to EDEKA.

 

Weekend: Saturday: Ingo repaired my TV!!! And got me beautiful flowers. I´m a bit better!!!

 

 

Sunday: Die Maus on soccer, gahhhhh. And at Shaun they had the hiccups - hilarious!

Nearly, only nearly forgot Dad passed on this day in 2002 - crazy I´d bought his fav flowers on Wednesday (the Sunflowers).

Got this Summer-drink from ALDI and join Elizabeth´s T with it.

They name it "Erfrischungsgetränk" - why take a cool name? 

As I learned it´s the 13th anniversary of T-Day I might´ve chosen a prosecco  instead?

Friday: They want me for this, NOW, and MUSTS are these:

+ Schema ST4 or Adobe InDesign (heard of the first)

+ Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks (nada???) 

+ Experience collaborating with development teams (can do that)

+ Experience in one of the following areas: ventilation technology, fan coil units, heat pump technology, electrical engineering, electronics (Heck, nada???) 

Nice to have:
+ Adobe Creative Cloud (no?)

mK is still on the run - I don´t know what to do? Take Ingo he could at least do the "red stuff"!

Weekend: Saturday: SCHEMA ST4 - good idea. You need to sign in. gmx - no, not valid. Huh?! googlemail - no. Help from Monday - Friday... 

So, Autodesk Inventor it is. Good English and, yippeee, metric system! But do I really want to "stumble" into a job and disappoint people?!  I cannot learn this on a weekend, not even having the program! So rather half-hearted I followed on YouTube how this CAD-program works. A waste of time? But it´s SO.DARN.COOL - look here! Bolts are "sitting comfortably" - what else could you wish for?

 

Well, "easy"... 1000 ways to go! 

And remembering how loooooong it took with my Kuhlmann-A0-drawing machine! On paper. Gosh, do I feel old!

I sleep bad, my worries pile up. I had so.much.time. I could´ve learned all this.

Sunday: Die Maus: "Holy shit! - Heilige Scheiße!" When I was young... no way those words on (kid´s) TV! It was about toilets, of course - explained via loo-carousels. Very interesting - loads of human work, loads of robots - and they are so human-like!

Different test specimen are required, too! Australia wants paper formed in a special way and Malaysia golf balls. Think about that! Holy shit!

Speaking of shit. Fairy tale: The Wishing-Table, the Gold-Ass, and the Cudgel in the Sack! I LOVE this one.

The Magical Dragon

Maybe you do not know:

Duke Henry The Lion was already in his 30´s when he got married to Mathilde from England - she was but a child. 

Gentleman Henry was he broke his wedding ring in half, gave her one, went on a pilgrimage and told her if he won´t be back in 7 years  - when she is an adult - she may re-marry,

He made it back in time and they lead a happy life, I reckon.

 

Anyways, in Africa he heard someone screaming for his life!!!!

 

He took his sword and investigated, brave man he was.

 

A Lion was desperate fighting off a dragon and the dragon was about to win!!! 

Henry killed the dragon, named the Lion Henry, who not only considered the Duke his friend but - with the devil´s help came with him to Braunschweig.

And now, that the Duke is long gone, takes care of all of us.

 

P.S. that really is but the same dragon! It changes color when you move it!
