Sushi Anyone?

This is at the Nakayoshi Sushi Bar on Wendenring, Braunschweig, just around my corner.
The recommendation is Japanese rice bowl with grilled salmon, salad, avocado and fried onions...
Sadly I don´t like fish, but the mural is cute - reckon the artist is someone from the restaurant.

Love-Hate Or Hate-Love

I remember how sadly only former blogger but still very good friend Grace and I where so sad that the Bell Tower in Perth was going down in the development of...

But now I even enjoy the place and aren´t these utility boxes too beautiful? I sadly found no artist.

AI: "Elizabeth Quay in Perth features a prominent public art trail anchored by Spanda, a 29-metre-tall white carbon-fibre loop sculpture, alongside Indigenous cultural installations like First Contact and community-focused heritage pieces."

Have a great Monday.

Greetings From Ingo

Ingo found this Beauty when he went on foot to get his car from the garage -  artist T. Mertinke, Tamara, a self-taught artist here in Braunschweig.
Our host sure reminds our partners to mural-hunt!

Jazz and Blues sounds fun!
Sadly no idea who the artist is.

Have a good start into the new week.

I Know?

... at CBD Perth, Forrest Chase, near MYER, "where else?" - is that still their slogan? It was in 1995.
Isn´t it beautiful?

Run by volunteers. Once, years ago, I had a question and in the end solved the "problem", teaching them.
Yes, me, Miss-no-orientation-whatsoever!!!

Our first MYER we found in this crazy shopping mall in 1995:

This:

Kinda a mural, too? This was 1999. I drove Ingo nuts. I WANTED!!!! EVERY!!! James Blish book on Star Trek original series - so we went to EVERY second hand book shop throughout Australia.
I have them all.

You know... sitting in the Outback after a long drive, reading one of his books was like watching the series!

Thank you, Ingo - we have the complete set!!!

Have a great start to the new week!

Have a good start to the new week.

Let´s Go To Leederville

On the way to Perth I hopped off Transperth and wandered through mural-heaven in Leederville. There is a youth center by the carpark and the kids are creative.

Just like at the Markethall in Braunschweig you hardly find artist´s names.

And for a change, as I found him, the Black Swan takes a break, instead:

Other Birdies

I assume these are by Peter Ryan - so cute (please correct me, Sami, if I´m mistaken - I had Ingo with me...). This is at Hillarys Boat Harbour.

"Oh, just keep your beaks shut..."

Have a happy Monday. From 39 it likely sadly cools down to 26C but: Rain, thunder and  lighting - soooo great! The hottest June in Germany (according to the news), sooo good.
