 ... landed in our German store, this is from Bavaria, but how CUTE is this, hmmmm.

HEARTS!!! Of salami.

Looks too fatty, though, but the idea I love (I prefer Jerky). 

 

Sau does not mean Mother-pig, as it would here.

It means Soooo... 

 

And guad means gut, good.

 

See. Bavaria is another country, just as I was explained we are "the Russians" - language-wise!!! - and Ukraine is "the Bavarians" .

 

And "the Bavarians" give us love as snacks with beautiful women as ads. 

I am a woman, I love (one) man but I think this ad is funny, sweet and clever.

 

With this I like to join Tom on his Signs2.

 

If love is not a sign I do not now what is.

One people, one salami-heart... and... take a beer. Or tea, coffee, whatever but let us sit together!

Yum For Kathy

 

I was stressed and a bit frustrated,job-wise, opened the fridge and found some rather very old cooked potatoes Ingo made.

 

Yuck.

And remembered I have an open package of chicken-breast-slices.

And cheese.

Eggs.

Slice and fry the potatoes with salt and pepper till not burned but dark brown (when it starts to smell... be quick).

Meanwhile throw one egg in a cuppa, add sliced meat and cheese, use some spices and kabooom.

It was soooo yummy (and quick)!

I was happy.

Potatoes, cooked, 5 days in the fridge... not a worry!

The cheese did the magic.

(Well this is none, rather a "forgot and found"-one).

 Monday: Siemens was a (great) kindy, this is tough. I need a break...

Tuesday: Teamleader Denmark does not want to hear the "S-Word" anymore, LOL!

Oh, it´s all chaos and we march through.

Siemens ... I thank you guys - I learned a lot I can use now.

Wednesday: We´re at it, but you cannot catch up on years in weeks.

Thursday: We all work together. With so much support I can do sport again, a bit.

Friday: It was a real tough day.

But with so much help we all managed... a bit. We worked together. How wonderful is this!!!

 

Weekend: Die Maus: the watering can broke and the Elephant took the ... I don´t even know the German word... "mouth" of it to help out. All good, kinda fitting to my life right now!

And... Hawaii.....

 

... I WANT.

Work-wise... teamleader Frankfurt tries to stay funny.

I never sweared at a teamleader - but now I did!!! BIG. We laughed. Alter, ey.

He played games!!

I gave him my PC. Remote, right.

 

He planned a meeting this way, I said, "hey, no greeting?!"

We´re all... in stress.

 

He wrote "kind FUCK#NG regards"  - with MY account!! And the whole word.

No idea how he stays this positive and funny.

He took it off of course - and no, I don´t translate, at Alstom the official language thankfully is not French (headquarter is Paris) but English, yet some try German and switch, it´s a mix.

We work with Spain and ... oh, I don´t know, the funniest names and sometimes I have no idea how to pronounce them yet I am told to contact them via phone, huhhhh...

 

Example: In Madeley/Perth I met the manager of our park Xavier, from France. easy, Xavier.

In Spanish though it sounds like Shavi.

Insert a "Mimimi" for thinking! As if it all was not complicated enough already!

 

Alter, ey! Ingo will have to hear some swearing from my side - everybody there does!!

I never was in a place where people sweared ... and then laughed so much!

I want to stay with them!

 Yes, you maybe know the SINGER Ingo presented me with after asking red or turquoise and I choose the latter and love "her".

Turned on the work-PC and now I know for whom I work, too!

 

Ohhhhh, huh, so cute!

 

I can only give you bits and pieces, but this is what all the hussle is about!

I dislike the city she´s in, but if when I go there again - to go to Perth (!!!) - I will look out for her and if I have the time and brave up maybe will ask the driver if I can join cause I helped a weeeee bit in the making.

Now, wouldn´t it be nice?

It´s Not Easy Being Green, But...

I hated the movie Forrest Gump until... we saw it in the oldest open air cinema in the world, Sun Pictures in Broome.

 

I fell in love the moment Forrest stepped onto the verandah and looked up into the kitchy sky ... that blended into the Outback sky perfectly (this was 1995, there was no light-pollution).

Bro later was on holiday and found this t-shirt.

Sadly waaaay too large for me (and too small for Ingo) so in summer I wear it as PJ.

 

And...

Forrest Gump (played by Tom Hanks) says “My mom always said life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.” 

 

All this came back to my mind when I saw the following at Erika´s - she included the cutest art, too and here is the song...

 

  

Well, it reminded me of the t-shirt. 

It reminded me that my Brother really listens to what I say and tell.

That my parents planted me in front of the telly for The Muppet´s Show, thinking it was for kids.

I never got the jokes.
