T STands For TooT

Art by food 🧑
The journal - fun this time, really!
If you like again.

Monday: Not so funny, bummer. Way too cold for the season - Gurri is back out! - and the bread was € 0,10 more expensive!
Not 2,25 but 2,35 - I think that is... weird times.
Gas will likely be up 40%!!!
Work... yay and nay.

Tuesday: Never thought translating from English to German is hard - I am German native...
It is, with all the railway-specials.
And you differ trains from trams etc, etc, etc....
Meanwhile no one had time to help me learn what actually to do!!
Got a surprise for Ingo.
A man wanted to shave my arm for that and just after a look said. "ok, no."
Said, "last time I shaved my legs was 2001". He looked very surprised at me.
Oh, I have such thin hair on my head, this is just fair, right?

Wednesday: met new colleagues (technically also customer, we´re a mixed bunch), one was a very  sweet old feline... black and white and very involved, awww... MEOW!!! 😍😻

Thursday: chats with T (like every day) and P from Siemens.
Later new customer/colleague, by golly, I giggled my head off, see here, if you like!

Ingo came in whilst I did the journal and at once exclaimed, "JΓ€germeister?!"
Yupp!!!! TOOT!!!

We had hail and all - colleagues were cut off - crazy weather.

And yes. Sadly "the DE" had to pause - just too much "work/waiting/being ready for Alstom.
I want "my time", my freedom for my training, I´m not motivated when I have people in my neck.  How about you?

Friday: Rain, yipeeee, three new colleagues, and a very good response from my teamleader ESE - cooked a tad -  too hot ;-)

Weekend:  Ingo brought toys, we cooked and had fun - relaxed. Oh, what a week!
At Die Maus they had a broken bridge.
Either they are dumb. Or they try to teach kids about the war, if so... a kid does not understand this.
Re-think!!! We need more than chewing gum to overcome a gap.

Can´t we just tell people what to do, what WE think is right?

Certainly, joining
Elizabeth´s T stands for Tuesday  ... :

Hmmm, this was yummy, my sweet tooth woke up!

Henry 🦁

Do we have to feel bad enjoying life when just around the corner people get slaughtered?
As I write my teamleader is still in Kiev.
Juggles work and help.
How long will this go on. πŸŒ»πŸ’™πŸ’›

Why did someone want to shave your arm? did you get a tattoo?

Yips. But there is nothing to shave, LOL

Fun post - you always find the fun in life! Your work is always full of something interesting too.

Love the journal pages - especially the elephant and balloon! Cute idea.

It is hard to think about enjoying life when people are being slaughtered - we have to go on and this is something God built in us so we could move through life and not be stuck in worry, but it is a bit frightening when you think about it. Especially when you think about how it could be us suffering and everyone else in the world still enjoying life.

So back to happy stuff.. Happy Tday (love your drink too by the way). Hugz

Really. The old pessimist seems to be dead, sad my Mum cannot read your comment, she would be surprised!!!

Yes, it is hard. Sun is shining and one looks outside and thinks... gunfire and all the stupidity of war so close by.
We need to enjoy the sun and Spring seems to be on the way, hugz!

Oh I like reading the day to day of your journal this week. I like the looking up into the umbrella for Friday drawing too. Chili sounds good. This time of year I never know what to eat. Light food? Heavy food? Hope your day is going well. Happy T day Iris. Hugs-Erika

Such a fun post! Loving all the colourful entries in your journal and now I'm wondering why a man wanted to shave your arm? Nice to meet your work colleagues and I hope you get more busy at work, it always makes the time go faster 😁. Roar to that funny Henry and Happy T Day! Hugs Jo x

You've had a full week! Chili (always with both meat and beans) is one of our favorites. Happy T Tuesday!

You had a busy week. I'm glad the job seems to go okay.
I enjoy your drawings. Bubble gum. Does that still exist? My hubby has chewing gum but that doesn't 'bubble'.
I love your drink. I have always loved Granini, but I don't think I have have tasted this exotic looking one.
Yes, I would love some chili, but hubby can't have it so it will have to wait.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

Your wonderfully illustrated and colorful journal pages make up for the cold and long work week. And nothing better than chili on the cold days either. I do hope it warms up for you! Happy T day!

I made Chili a couple of weeks ago and it was so good. I always add corn to it - love the sweetness it gives.

Ohhh so glad you made chili. I know it was good. Love the journals too. Ohh that Vanilla Passion looks soo good too. Have a great day Iris.

Chili is a great choice for cold weather, we often eat that in the winter. Would be a fitting dinner today as well since it is unseasonably cold for this region at this time of year. Very windy as well. - It feels heartless to enjoy life and have fun while people are being slaughtered. However, would anything be different for them if we were sad and grumpy? I have a lot of respect for your team leader who is in Kiev to work and help.

My mother occasionally made chili con carne when I was growing up.

My life looks boring compared to yours. Your week is always very busy sounding. It is great that you journal it all. I wish I had the patience to do that.
Your chili looks great. Chili is one of our favorite meals in the winter.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

I would have been here sooner, but I've been stuck with my new tax man most of the day. Nothing like waiting till the last minute to get everything filed (deadline in the states is 15 April).

I agree with Kate. My life is very boring compared to yours. And yours is so colorful, too. I love your calendar pages that put mine to shame.

I haven't had chili in a long time, but yours looks good. Love the Vanilla Passion you shared with us for T this Tuesday, too, dear Iris.

It is funny about him wanting to shave your arm.... Chili sounds good. We haven't had it in a long time, as too spicy for us. Just flying by to say hi and happy T Day.

Erika, here it warmed up - light food :-) Right now carrots, pepper, tomato, olives and Mozzarella (we need cheese, right?).

____

Jo, yes, another tattoo. Just there is really nothing to shave, LOL
I´ll share when "healed", it´s for a baby.
Time runs, it´s too fast going!Henry gives another gton, hugs x!

____

Divers and Sundry, yes, it was warming, hmmmmm....

____

Lisca, we still have those chewing ball machines even!
The Granini was yummy, a tad too sweet maybe.
Hope your Hubby soon can eat all the normal yummy food!

____

Linda, thank you and yes, it did warm up! :-)

____

Bill, it sure must be...

____

deb, well, he didn´t and I did not run away ;-)
To a good chili!

____

RedPat, yep, corn was in there, too!

____

Nicole, thank you for the idea! Ingo was in it in an instant :-)

_____

Carola, luckily it warmed up, yet Easter likely is Chili weather again.
Yes, you are right, it would help no one if we sat here with a sad face. Better show support - and understand how lucky we are.
Yes, teamleader is rellay into it. He has family there - and they want to stay.

____

William, time to resume that!

____

Kate, nonono... All I do is work. Learn. Not even time for art. Or sport.
The journaling helps to reflect, me at least. I am glad Eileen introduced me to this!
Yay, everybody seems to love chili!

____

Elizabeth, ohhhh, taxes.... waiting till shortly before deadline here, too!! (August, I think).
My life is boring, I think! Hectical and stressy and hard with so much learning atm...
As if the years without work come back full blast!
Hope it´s soon too warm for chili ;-)

____

Sharon, yes, he left that thought in an instant, LOL! Hi back, I´ll pop over in my next break :-)

____

Dora, for now it warmed up!
