Let´s Give It

My days now so far started... black.
It´s not only the cold, icky weather. I sit in a warm home.
My new teamleader is Ukrainian, very active in helping, has many a big sponsor here (well, two, but that´s a start, right!) - he gives his best, near to no sleep, active, active, active and then he has to take care of me as well (I found two other colleagues to give me work and help on the way).

Come weekend he´ll take off to Kiev again, with goods to help and bring back refugees.

Me, the only woman in the German team (that I know of) I hence  "have to" listen to all the ugly details of the war.

I mean. He really goes into the war zone. He braves up.

Not only the pictures in the news, I get the full "blast".
I understand he needs to get it out.
But, wee... it´s tough.
He has my very deepest respect. I think he is my "little" Brother´s age, mid 40´s.

It makes one feel so humble and thankful.
So angry and mad, too.

So, as signs today I need something that represents hope.

Wish I could give a bit to the people who suffer so badly now, so unnecessarily badly.

This is for Tom´s Signs2.

We need to look forward to light, to peace, to freedom 🌻💙💛
I don´t see it, though.

Comfort food needed - look here, if you like.

Light, peace, freedom. Why is that so difficult, why?

Because some tiny man has to make up for his body-size and loneliness, I guess. Even his wife and "kids" left him. Same as with that Austrian man. History sadly repeats itself.
What I really fail to understand is... why the Russian people still follow.
All the sanctions it must ring a bell.

I'm not at all surprised his wife and kids left him, probably they could see he was getting more and more crazy in the head.
Plenty of the Russian people still follow him because he is controlling the news and televisions, they simply don't see what we see out here in the rest of the world. They see only what putin allows them to see. I do wonder if any of them are questioning what they see and hear, I hope they do or begin to soon.
I like the message on that coffee mug very much.
I am sorry your days are so dark now, is it the weather or the war and the stories from your Ukrainian work mate? can you tell him people from Australia also think he is very brave and say thank you from us.

Wow, brave man indeed to go into the war zones to rescue people.
It hurts to see all those cities destroyed, bodies all over the roads, really gruesome. I'm sure it won't be easy to listen to all those horror stories from your colleague.
Nice signs on the mugs. I actually just saw a truck with a "peace2you" number plate.

Thanks for the stamps, just arrived today :) Sent you 2 emails

River, I understand - but they must see they get no goods from the world outside Russia suddenly, that MUST ring a bell and must be over the fear of that tiny man!
Some stand up. And get arrested. Sad, mad, sick.
Oh, that is a tissue box :-) As mug it would be better!!
I will try and tell him you are all with him (he is my teamleader it´s a bit tricky, though and I sure don´t want him to find my blog, it´s too personal).

Sami, yes, it´s hard to listen. It´s the voice itself, too. You can hear it takes him a lot of power. So I try to be there.
Oh, shoot, I wish that was a mug indeed - it´s holding tissues. I think it doesn´t exist anymore even!
Great number plate - we need that.

Yippeyah yeah - that was super-mega snail mail then!!! I thought it got lost! Checking e-mails :-)

...Iris, keep your heart smiling! The cold, icky weather will pass and you don't have bomb raining down of you!

True, Tom the sun is out already :-)

I really admire your team leader. I know it's hard to listen but it's important to listen and -- as you do -- to share, so that we all know. Seeing those cities wiped to the core and the atrocities and bodies hurts. But it is important to know, to watch. To be aware.

Jeanie, yes, we all need to see and help, if it is via this way.

Nothing better than a cup with Love. They just warm the heart.

Yes, they do! Especially now...
