If Freddie only would live to see this! At the end people clap to the song!
I bet the horse enjoyed it all!
Chapeau to the lady, too. I mostly got ponies but once.... his name was Alexander for a reason. I fell into his back all the time and yet he snuggled up afterwards anyways. Also a black one, so beautiful.
The Elefant, the one who is as old as Die Maus, he celebrates.
And there is a reason to celebrate, well, if not here, but...
2019 we celebrated Chinese New Year, see here (I nearly dropped my cam!).
Twice actually, with Sami and Grace, too, in Northbridge, it was fun, see here, if you like.
One day... we will travel and meet again.
We have soooo many Chinese students, I wonder why we don´t have a parade here... oh. Corinna... but sadly we never celebrate it, despite you find Chinese food everywhere here.
The journal...
Monday: our W knocked to check on me.
He was so sad, cannot get over having lost his wife.
Asked him if his kids care.
No.
How sad is this, they live around the corner.
So I showed him my new work-place and he smiled, told him how people call me these days, oh, boy. Another grin.
If little, it is good, huh.
At the grocery I waited in line like FOR-EVER after I waited at the bakery the same as the woman could not decide.
I order the bread at 06:38 a.m. and have the correct money at hand, arrrrgh...
Tuesday: Work, oh. Hell. I´m a newbie and have to correct documents that are so..."arrrrgh"!
BUT!!! I found my second camera!!!
Had put it in front of the microwave, luckily the drawer underneath was open.
Walking by I opened the door for my microwave-tiger and the cam must´ve fallen in there!!!
D'ooooooh. Was I happy when I - after searching everywhere - found it in there!
The whole main Braunschweig Fire Brigade, which is just around the corner, was out and about when I wanted to get tomatoes for Ingo, it was scary. No idea what was up, they let us pass. Scary.
Training, two sessions.
Wednesday: Late Birthday mail!
And a very fast talking - and working - customer from South Africa. We were very (!) productive AND had fun! Nice guy.
And then from another a document from hell again.
Well. I do understand those people have other things on their minds and can do stuff I can not, so I take it as it comes.
Two training sessions, I´m getting back to my old life!!!
I really enjoy cooking, even if I work and have to prepare before.
I know what´s in there and some products really are local.
As Dr. Vitali Klitschko just said: "If you wanna make it good, do it yourself!".
Weee. He was here in Germany to ask for help. I hope Putin just threatens and we don´t have another war.
Seeing all the tanks and war ships threating the Ukraine sure was a scary sight.
And local?
I just hear of the drama from Bro.
People go to him cause they know he does an excellent job in refracturing, then buy their glasses online, aka somewhere else.
Thursday: I spent a whole day with another document from hell, had meetings, to-do-lists, people asking, telling me, oh, can you "quickly" do this, saying, oh, why did you not... we need this... Admin and Manager?! I am the lille girl for plain everything.
P helped again BIG and I had no idea how. I checked the hell-document out, which actually means others have but reading-options, yet, suddenly problems were solved! I thought I´m going slightly mad!
A master magician she is.
We talked, too, and she told me to not take it all too close, no one will be happy then.
It´s such a different world to my old working world where I was more or less my own tiny boss...
After I did two more training-sessions. Sport really does one good.
Friday: We´re all stressed by now.
Certainly, how else could it be, I ended up in the biggest project they have - Emmi, P´s sweet, black cat, always wants to join us and when P said, "Emmi, give love" she purred so loud, I could hear it. So sweet.
And Ingo´s flowers I always take from my home- to my work PC, they make me happy, too. Plus sport.
Ingo got a "Schnitzel-Street" and made some yummy Cordon-Bleu:
Can you guess for what Freddie´s letter "X" stands?
In pic above are two hints.
(The sign actually says "Tauben fรผttern verboten" - "feeding pigeons forbitten", but someone put dots over the "รผ", hence it´s an "u" that makes it "futtern", another word for "eating", or "snacking".)
That´ll leave him (and me) fit for free and without weird (and vivid?) icky people.
Really. What I saw, brrr. Let´s go for a brisk, vivid walk instead, Henry. Like in the old days.
And sorry, yes.
I sat in my office. CNN just showed the start page.
We got no infos.
All those who had friends, relatives etc in NY panicked.
Phones were in action.
A dumb or even good article for today?
Publish or not?
I had no one there, only saw the frightened faces of colleagues.
The date always gives me a stitch in my heart.
CNN today sure shows it all and I´m not sure if I wanna see it.
I have two big monitors and always the TV on the right one.
And, no, this is not true, not only Americans do...
The shop Ingo worked in had TVs on display and they showed how the towers fell.
Guess!!!
Stupid customers thought it´s an action movie ๐ญ
I hope I offended no one... I think, too, we .. well. With Afghanistan we stepped right back into it.
Why go at people?
They believe in something different, they have another skin-color or wear funny hats?
Why did that Austrian, tiny man go at the Jewish people?
They work hard and don´t try to talk you into their God / Believe, so... why?
And it happened in Germany AGAIN!
This time from Muslim people.
And most of them.
Want what... 72 virgins in their heaven and treat women right here real bad.
Also in Braunschweig.
Even boys learn that, I had a very big bruise on my arm from such a boy cause I, having recycling stuff in both hands made way, but not enough.
I was so... I wore in German summer in Germany a German summer dress and this.. 15-year old boy scolded me for this. Physically, cause he was taller.
Luckily I didn´t yell at him, I saw the family then.
Father, "head" of the family in trousers half long, beard and all, BEHIND him his wife - FULLY... you know... just the eyes visible, carrying all the groceries.
What is it with THAT religion?!
Braunschweig built a "wash-house" on "demand", which they hardly use.
Sorry. No other religion is that demanding and ... that´s also how I lost my right ear.
Ingo wanted me to have a Walter to protect myself (we were too dumb).
I think.. we must believe in vivid freedom for all people.
As "we" tried in the 70´s. (just to get a closure on my babbling)
On the way to the bakery to get Ingo´s bread on Monday I met a cousin of Peanut, quite in distress, under a tree.
He likely burried nuts there, but they were GONE!!!
Maybe he (or she) just remembered the coordinates but not if up or down?
(awww, isn´t this too cute? Sporty guy!) Shoot, I give up!!! It´s not here!!!!
I felt so sorry for the (very quick) lille fella.
Nononono, don´t go there! They have spinifex, but no nuts in that area (likely no crocs, either, a tad too dry for them. Go to Broome or Darwin, for example to see them (great NPs!). Oh, or Perth, the Zoo has a giant one! And a brand new baby, wish I could visit!)
This "grass" shown on the cover of the book just looks nice. It hurts like hell. Just come over to our place, Peanut, I´ll give you walnuts, OK?
Too many books! Too many, finished a great one and started this yesterday - it was WARM, SUMMER and this book is hilarious!
I sat on the balcony laughing till it was too dark to read.
Really, this book is a bummer.
Interesting btw. No mossies!!!
And yet it´s so wet our wooden floor came up so much I need POWER to open / close our condo-door. What happened? (I mean, I´m glad, they used to eat but me, Ingo´s blood must taste awful).
Well, it´s all about Freddie again, though and reckon you have a guess for what the letter "U" stands and before you kill me straight away...
Turn on the sound, if you like, it´s wonderful (I think so, at least)...
