Monday: Ummmm... my end is near? E-mail (I didn´t open it): "Burial in the North and Baltic Seas". Hang on - I hope I have a couple more years?!

Next: "Home emergency call system - immediate support in case of emergency" What did I miss??? And it´s only Monday! Hey, yes, my back hurts, but otherwise I´m still fine! 

Asked Ingo. He thinks I can do that super-duty job... eventually - will ask mT for further advice. Don´t wanna disappoint people who believe in me.

Why the heck do they do that?! 

 

Tuesday: mT said: "Germany suffers badly. Go for it at ESE, be honest, you CAN learn this stuff." Always good to be able to go back to your teamleader, if the last time he was there was 2018 in this role ("just" friends now). He´s still here!!! Ingo and fK in my back is good, too. On my back? mT said everyone is on holiday now, too. "Wait".

 

 

Wednesday: Started 17C then warming up - Summer seems to come back. Everyone signed sick or on holiday and no one can help me out - that darn company who shares ST4-tutorials needs a company-account. Hilarious. Watched Cast Away. Seemed fitting.

 

 

Thursday:   Bucket List I watched. What´s on yours? "Laugh until you cry"? 

"Kiss the most beautiful  girl in the world"? - Granddaughter it was. 

Other I kept lying down and stood the pain. It warmed up. Wanted to go to the city but just went grocery. We keep a distance - it hurts. Back, heart and mind hurt. I feel alone. Left behind. Not good enough. Job-wise... nothing, fK on holiday - I will not interrupt. My Brother - not a word.

 

 

Friday: Slept in again. Good for my back but I think it might be really a depression this time. I hear nothing job-wise. Ingo keeps silent, too. No worries I will NOT fall for any meds!

Please do NOT pity me! 

 

Crazy thing at FB for Braunschweig: BBQs forbitten in the parks due to the dry heat (well, "heat", but dry!). You are to save water, too... 21C /69F is not my idea of "heat"... OK might rise to 27C - "warm". 

So I decided to very slowly with my medical corset on walk to the city later - that is my anti depression tool. Didn´t happen. But I went to EDEKA.

 

Weekend: Saturday: Ingo repaired my TV!!! And got me beautiful flowers. I´m a bit better!!!

 

 

Sunday: Die Maus on soccer, gahhhhh. And at Shaun they had the hiccups - hilarious!

Nearly, only nearly forgot Dad passed on this day in 2002 - crazy I´d bought his fav flowers on Wednesday (the Sunflowers).

As I learned it´s the 13th anniversary of T-Day I might´ve chosen a prosecco  instead?

Monday: 16C / 60F. Cloudy, no rain. Summer??? Ingo signed sick one more week.   

Re-watched Toy Story 2. Hihi: Dachshund Buster/Slinky: "I may not be a smart dog - but I do know what road kill is!" -  a cute reference to Forrest Gump who knew "what love is!" I LOVE Toy Story. And Forrest Gump. You find new stuff all the time!

Wednesday: Still too cold, still no nothing. Went buying a "golden glass" to soak Chia Seeds - oh, my life is so ... interesting.

 

Thursday: 16C, grey. Summer, where are you?! Job-wise.. nothing...

 

 

Friday: They want me for this, NOW, and MUSTS are these:

+ Schema ST4 or Adobe InDesign (heard of the first)

+ Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks (nada???) 

+ Experience collaborating with development teams (can do that)

+ Experience in one of the following areas: ventilation technology, fan coil units, heat pump technology, electrical engineering, electronics (Heck, nada???) 

Nice to have:
+ Adobe Creative Cloud (no?)

mK is still on the run - I don´t know what to do? Take Ingo he could at least do the "red stuff"!

Weekend: Saturday: SCHEMA ST4 - good idea. You need to sign in. gmx - no, not valid. Huh?! googlemail - no. Help from Monday - Friday... 

So, Autodesk Inventor it is. Good English and, yippeee, metric system! But do I really want to "stumble" into a job and disappoint people?!  I cannot learn this on a weekend, not even having the program! So rather half-hearted I followed on YouTube how this CAD-program works. A waste of time? But it´s SO.DARN.COOL - look here! Bolts are "sitting comfortably" - what else could you wish for?

 

Well, "easy"... 1000 ways to go! 

And remembering how loooooong it took with my Kuhlmann-A0-drawing machine! On paper. Gosh, do I feel old!

I sleep bad, my worries pile up. I had so.much.time. I could´ve learned all this.

Sunday: Die Maus: "Holy shit! - Heilige Scheiße!" When I was young... no way those words on (kid´s) TV! It was about toilets, of course - explained via loo-carousels. Very interesting - loads of human work, loads of robots - and they are so human-like!

Different test specimen are required, too! Australia wants paper formed in a special way and Malaysia golf balls. Think about that! Holy shit!

Monday: Back-pain, oh-yikes. Ingo and I finally got the new mattress into the bed, the old one now sits on the wall. It´s HARD, it´s heaven! And hence I have space for the walking pad cause I think sitting does not really help my back!

 

Tuesday: Should I start? I slept in ... new mattress! But owww. I think Ingo´s back-machine will stick on me for a while...

 

It is June, right? We have 15C. Cloudy. 

 

 

Wednesday: TV-News: in one state here they have cameras now that spot when a driver uses his mobile phone! GOOD!

We are... DUMB!!!! Ingo tried to order tickets for the Braunschweig Lions. Nope.

Took me... FOREVER. Paypal flips!!!! New password ...  confirmation... confirmation.. blablabla...  and I get everything in English mixed with German, too!!!

Do I have tickets for a game here in Braunschweig, Germany??? No clue?

I started as student. 5 DM (German Mark), now € 86 for two seats. 

It.Better.Be.Good!!!! 5 DM - € 2,50, just saying... 

But, well. American Football with Dresden again! 

 

 

Thursday:  TV-News: 42% here will not watch the world soccer-games. Count us in.

LOL. Door-bell. "Biber-Post, danke!" Do the delivery guys talk to each other? 

fK came back from Warsaw and talked to fE.

fE is sorry she forgot to invite me to the ESE summer-party and said she plans me in for August 1st and will talk to mK who will be back from holiday on Monday.

It´s a roller-coaster. July 22nd  money coming in from state will stop...  

 

Friday: Uneventful - not bad, huh?

 

 

Weekend: Saturday: Ingo got me flowers! 

 

Went to the city. By golly - barriers everywhere. Security, so much security, police, emergency doctors and... bummer: spiritual advisors. WHAT?! We celebrate the day/weekend of lower Saxony...  we celebrate! You just look around and wait for the "man with the knife", so sad. 

Back home. Superb. Rain so strong we have no TV anymore.

Footy. Disappointing. Unfair fans and a bad game. Bad food. No. At times the atmosphere was good but the dumb people made it a pain. I had ear-protection with me but the people in front of me shielded their ears with their hands!

We left early and talked a long time in the living room. That was nice.

Sunday: Ingo´s right hand... something is very wrong - doctor tomorrow. It´s scary.

Monday: Wow. Ingo is such a good window cleaner a little bird knocked right into the balcony glass... It flew into a tree and after a while flew off. Why does a bird do that, there are stickers on the glass!

Aaaaand! I am an ole bugger. Tom had to help me out with the mural and now I know there is a "Google Lens" and it also works on the PC! Thank you, Tom! All the stuff I have no idea of!

 

We´re together since 1994. Ingo said, "I need to pee and then go to bed." I thought, just give him a good-night-kiss there. Ingo, "Give me a pee-kiss?". Two people, one thought. ...To men peeing seated!

 

Tuesday: T What´sApped, so nice!

And, OMG, are we lucky we survived the carnivore drop-bears in Australia!!!! 

Please give it a go, it is #1 in the following clip.

It´s a "bit" long with many repetitions per number, just skip otherwise and I can assure you... there are no drop-bears.

Maybe go with dear friend Sami and touch a koala for real in Caversham Wildlife Park.

Other laundry, oh, my back!

 

Thursday: Life is crazy. Since Saturday I could not eat properly, only apple, yogurt and such. Felt very sick. This morning much better, put a Pizza-baguette in the air-fryer and phone went off:

From a short-term project in June to a 2-3 YEAR-project in July - likely!!!

I wonder... did my body sense the news? fE also told mK to hurry a bit cause she wants me back, as much as he does. I´m happy!

Also only this morning I finally set my neglected flip-calendar to the correct date - crazy, huh. 

Ingo ordered the expensive chair for my private PC-place, so this fella can go to my work-place. The training at ALSTOM I did from a folding chair!

 

Friday: That neighbor is the dumbest, really. No one sits or plays in their garden and yet he mowed the grass and of course the daisies and dandelions. Why care for the bees. "Idjit!", as Bobby´d say.

Weekend: Saturday: It warmed up!!! 29C / 84F and Ingo not only helped me with medical heat cream (since days) for my hurting back but also with a medical corset. Hmm... cozy.

Instead of enjoying the balcony I lay in bed, back straight, reading. 

 

 

At least with these glasses you can lie on you back and have the book on your stomach.

 

Ingo pressure washed the balcony walls. When my back is better I will paint them. The joy when you own, not rent!

First BBQ. 

 

 AND!!!!! They survived!!!!

 

Sunday: Back-pain. 

Ingo forgot to buy eggs, so I went to the gas station. They have beer, Schnapps, Pizza and all but no fresh eggs :-(

Spare you the sad rest. Sometimes you wish for a new life, huh. 

At least I can walk again (back pain). 

We could´ve had a great weekend but Ingo decided . No. 

32-years-"anniversary", - no.

Oh, my back!!! Took care as best as I could....

So sad. I was ALWAYS there.....
