At least it warmed up a little - my ticket to Elizabeth´s T. Will Summer come back?
Ingo still signed sick, fE on holiday for 3 weeks. BIG NEWS: I´m on hold! (Irony)
Back a bit better and I start cleaning. Slowly!!!
And I got the most romantic pressie from Ingo: An itch healer against insect bites - loaded via usb - now all we need is: Summer.
Cause you know. They try Ingo once and then.... me. Just me. I get all the bites.
Tuesday: Back a bit better, yippeeee... went to REWE. New guy at the self-cash-out, young.
I said hello and he smiled! When ready I said, good bye, got another smile, see, so easy, two people happy.
How´s it like in your place? Do people greet? I think I´m one of the few, sadly...
It does not hurt to be friendly!!
Wednesday: 14C /57F - really, July?! Ingo went to the doc in a jacket! And will drive to work tomorrow. When they nag him he´ll be clear.
I cleaned bath and toilet and kaboom... back is back.
Ingo suggested I have a herniated disc - did an online test and thankfully could say "no" to so much, I don´t think I have that. Also learned - MOVE. Slowly, but DO.
Option: Wait for an app with the home-doc I don´t trust and wait forever for an MRI.
Thursday: On.Hold.
Friday: Ingo grabbed me and we - slowly - went to the city and then to the steak house!!! Ingo had to help me but it was progress with eating and walking and my it was so yummy! Steak Mignon, hmmmm...
Got a job offer from a company who dropped me badly. Ingo said: "NO!"
Weekend: Saturday: By accident I was in stripes, LOL. Underwear, PJ and T-Shirt all in stripes. The walking did my back real good. It took a while but I managed half a breadroll. Eating sure isn´t fun these days.
Evening: Balcony, sooooo good, Summer!
Sad: Muslim attack on Berlin's CSD. Go-HOME!!!
I think we skip ours... What´s wrong with those people?! Be and let be!
Sunday: Summer gone again. Ritual inside: Löwenzahn, Maus, fairy tale, talking. No BBQ. Brrrr....France, Spain? Fires. Evacuations. Huge ones. But people help one another.
And Russia won´t let go - what a sad world.
And here is munchy:
We skipped the salad and shared the potato. Old people....
They really have no kid´s menus!!! How is that even possible?!

...57F to 62F is a tad cool. Iris I wish you well.
Oh yes, people say hello to each other. Well, women to women. I only say hello to men if I know them. Of course I live in a village. It will be different in a big city. Also it is the habit here when you enter a shop, to say good morning/afternoon/evening so all can here. Same when you leave and the girls on the check-out do the same.
Cleanng bath and toilet! What were you thinking! Take it easy. I'm glad you felt better after a walk.
Steak mignon! Yummy!
Yes, the fires are awful. Fortunately nothing near here. (But that could come of course. It's scary)
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
Yupp, Tom, long clothes-time....
It sure is different here. Once I was on the way to Ingo´s doc - not "my area" and a male stranger cheered at me, "good morning!" in the street. I smiled for the rest of the way! So... brave up, spread smiles!
Yah, what was I thinking....
Oh, yes, that steak, hmmmm...
I hope no fires come near - here it´s another too cold, grey day.... But, well, happy T-Day!
WOW that is cold for July! We've had a rainy kind of July too but with hot weather! People tend to smile and say hello here. Not the young people so much. Love a good steak!!
Near to no rain here...
Hmmm. Now that you mention. He just smiled - he did not greet back. Crazy. Yupp 1-2 a year we go for the yum!
Itch healer? Is it heated? Does it work? The Young One and I got eat by sand flies at the lake. Still itching 5 days later! Happy T Day
I actually prefer vodka without spirit.
A cooling drink and nice pages, you are doing art.
It sounds like the back is slowly coming back to normal, Iris.
Electrical. Hehe, I got eaten up by sandflies, too and became the "star" at my friend´s Birthday party! A lady over 90 years old tried to care for me, LOL. I had to fly back with that from Perth to Germany. 8 hours on the bus, I thought I explode!
No ideaif the healer works - no Summer, no insects ;-)
I won´t try that again - it was but "interesting"...
Hmmmm... I need to do some art again. These are but sketches?
I SO hope, RedPat! I´m sick of being sick....
So sorry you back is out again. Walking is the best thing for a bad back. Did you ever get to a doctor and an MRI to know exactly what is wrong with your back? Nice that Ingo took you out to dinner. Take it slow my friend.
I think Germany has the same doctor´s problem you have so.... no.... I´ll get through this by myself :-)
Good On Ingo !!!
Cheers
When I went to the doctor for my should she told me that muscle injuries take longer than bone injuries to heal. Oh boy. That is also probably true for you. I hope you get some warm weather SOON. It is almost August. That's a great photo of Ingo, but hopefully no mosquitoes. They like me too- :( Hope you are having a super T day. hugs-Erika
Yippsee, Cheers!
So you and Ingo are right. Ughhh.... Yes, it is supposed to get warmer - yipeeeee... and hugs!
Here in West Virginia, we not only greet, we get into conversations! Just how it is. Smiles, opening doors, etc, just routine. I hadn't thought about it, really, but it is nice!
So sorry about your poor back! I sleep on a heating pad, makes a world of difference. I can sleep!
I wish we had your cool weather. I am so tired of this hot summer.
I'm so glad you and Ingo got out for dinner. That looks so nice. We greet quite a bit here. I always do and usually get good response. I do think you should have the MRI as soon as you can get it (which may not be all that soon). But glad that the walking is helping. And nice to get a job offer -- even f you don't take it. Nice to be wanted.
I would gladly trade my heat for your weather. Yesterday 106 F (41.1 C), Sunday 113 F (45 C). My AC is having a hard time keeping up.
SO sorry to read you are once again having back problems. Rest is best.
Your meal looks good. And of course, so does your very unique cola you shared with us for T this Tuesday, dear Iris. Get better soon, please.
Love your sketches!
We're really impressed by that attack during the pride. It's just terrible to attack love. And then on top of that, by someone who had gotten a fresh start in your country.
The difference in temperature in your country and mine is strange. We have 25-30. Far too hot.
Oh, that is so nice! With one of the check out ladies I chat, too, but all others.... neighbors, yes :-)
I have a weight blanket for sleep - as if someone hugs you all night.
Yes, please send over some temps!!!
I don´t even know if I still have health insurance, so.... rather no MRI - I can move in all directions without pain. And I was told torn muscles take long to heal...
To greeting! :-)
Awwww 45C!!! MY weather!!!! No, resting is bad - slow moving is best :-) I´m at it! Thank you, on the getting better way, cheers!
Thank you :-)
Yes, terrible, only 21 years old, that "man" and... too long.
Well, I´d call your weather rather warm. And we might pick it up this week finally, too, yippeee. Not hot, but at least not cold!
Hello Iris,
I am sorry your back is still hurting, I would think a MRI is needed.
Walking is good, I feel stiff if I sit too long. Your dinner looks delicious. I hope you have some summer temps, the days are flying by too fast. Take care of yourself! Have a great day!
Mosquitoes love my wife, as we can both be out in the backyard, and they'll find her. Your dinner looks scrumptious. Happy belated T is for Tuesday!
Sorry your back is still not good, but it seems that walking did help your back. It reminds me of the saying motion is lotion!
Sweet Henry picture.
All the best Jan

Dear friend Iris, Ingo, Henry and cub look great! I am always so happy to see your artwork, I love your talent! Sending you lots of love and hugs!
Is my comment in your spam?
Thank you, Eileen, an MRI is out of the question, that would take months to come true. And I can move :-)
And Summer is here!
Mosquitoes are mean! ;-)
"To yum"?
Yes, on the way up!!
Thank you - I missed this article - a go especially for Ingo!!!
Oh, sorry, dear friend Linda, talent is not what I see ;-) Sketching is all I do atm. But hugs and love back on the way!
