R U Hungry? Sporty?

This is Wanneroo Rd in Madeley, right in front our Caravan Park.

Where we are...

...to go to Warwick (pronounced "Warrick"). And then Perth. Or Leederville... or Joondalup.

I had a (plastic) skateboard. I went so fast on a road downhill where cars drive, the wheels started to spin and I luckily flew off to the right in the grass.
One reason I have no kids!

Snacks, though?! Make yourself a slice of bread or eat an apple!

Gosh. I am old.
And I am thankful for that, too. I am a happy kid of the early 70s.

Would you like to be a kid now?
That would really interest me!
TV on demand - nothing to look forward to.
I love my Sunday-ritual with Löwenzahn, Die Maus and the Fairy Tale.

Hello from the old(en) front, this is for Tom´s Signs2.

Back in the day we had no protection whatsoever - you?

Not sure I know the brand, but I love salami as a snack.

I had a wooden skateboard but I never really got into it much.
It is only 17˚C here this morning and I am freezing, Iris. ;-)

I think it was better being a kid back when I was than now. But I'm not sure I'd want to go back to that. Maybe to when I was in my 40s or even 50s!

I sure loved the colors and clothing of the 70´s! The wallpaper... the shoes...

I broke my collarbone jumping of a skateboard, that was the last time I was on it.

I was very lucky then!

Would I like to be a kid now? That's a hard question. Kids today don't know how easy and fun our childhoods were and they think they have the best time now with all that is available to them. My older son was a very good skateboarder, but never skated on roads, always in empty schoolyards, or empty carpark areas after the shops closed. Then special skate parks were built for kids to skate in and were very popular for a while.

Yes, Germany... behind a rock! These days there are skateparks - back then? Nope.
Were our childhoods easier? I think we were "free". No one cared. I had to be home at 07 pm and if not.... uhhh (happened only once hence).
I think we were happier... or just different!

I don't even know if Primo is sold here anymore but I do remember them in the 1990s.
