At The Zoo

People certainly know how to pronounce my name in English, knowing an Iris-scan. But when they try Ingo it mostly ends in "Ango". So, Ingo uses the Aussie wild dog as example, "like Dingo, without the 'D'".

These are some more pics from zoo Perth.

Yes, that´s how the animals were "on display" in the beginning. Horrible lives...

This is for...

 ... Eileen.

And the end I have a furry funnie for you:

When A British Horse Loves (The) Queen!

Bummer, is it?!
If Freddie only would live to see this! At the end people clap to the song!
I bet the horse enjoyed it all!

Chapeau to the lady, too. I mostly got ponies but once.... his name was Alexander for a reason. I fell into his back all the time and yet he snuggled up afterwards anyways. Also a black one, so beautiful.

Well, those days are over for me...

 This is for...

 Eileen.

And ... a kind of animal, too:

And just for the fun - in case you did not know: Freddie learned the ballet dancing:

Those of you who can... go to Jesters or such and have a yummy Pie on me, OK? Popeye would be a nice choice!
"Popeye's favourite pie features fresh spinach, locally sourced mushrooms and onions baked with a trio of gourmet cheeses."

We Have A Witness!

From FB:

"In a fast-moving digital world, sometimes a single photograph captures global attention by offering a moment of simple charm. One such image ... shows a tiny penguin standing calmly beside two officers on a beach, perfectly positioned as if it were a “witness” waiting to give a formal statement about an ongoing investigation.
The photo was taken along a windy coastline where two security officers were speaking with each other, seemingly unaware of their small companion. The bird, identified as a Magellanic penguin, stood upright with its head slightly tilted, closely mirroring the posture of the humans around it. This human-like behavior sparked the internet’s imagination, with viewers creating humorous stories about the “crime” the penguin might have seen or been involved in.
Beyond the humor, the moment also reflects the real relationship between humans and wildlife in coastal regions such as Chile and Argentina, where these penguins naturally live. During migration seasons, Magellanic penguins often come ashore to rest after long journeys. In this particular situation, the officers were actually protecting the bird by keeping curious crowds at a safe distance so it could recover peacefully."

I just have to share this for...

 ... Eileen of course!

I do have a bit from super-humid Perth-Zoo-day, too:

 Maybe a wise decision!

Does anyone have a guess? I think we were all washed away that day...

Meet Amber And Have An Apple (Quick!)

... in Perth Zoo. On a coolish but super-moist day and certainly that is all I saw of Amber!

The staff pointed out a real Orangutan (we pronounce them Orang Utan, two words and the second totally different, boy, was I surprised how they´re pronounced in English!).
The pointed out was so far away, my eyes spotted, but the cam could not, so... sorry.

I can give you their hands and feet, though:

Bet by now she is that big/tall... I can only show you this ( and no I saw no real roo this time. They all hid!

Yah, Mama was a tad too slow...

This of course is for...

Hi From Perth Zoo?

So we went to Perth Zoo. On a coolish day.
Clever, huh?

I mean... 2019 it was HOT. Signs all around: "animals may hide in the shade".
And sure they did.

2025, January, Hanover. Too cold, Animals hid inside.

Now? Not too hot, but huuuuumid! Animals hid. Even that statue hid in shade and we were but tired, so I join ...

Eileen rather with this (from FB)

Much cuter, huh?

BITE ME

Found this at Hillarys Boat Harbour and... did not buy it cause... haha River sure knows... too big. And... can I do that to my companion, my red hat that brought me in so much trouble but is with me since 2013? Which is not red anymore, hello, Australian sun!

Ingo could make this hat match to mine (head). So will I... next time?
Help me, yes or no?

Henry 🦁 .... Henry?!!!! "Yes, I´m in Perth!"

"They stuck me in the zoo! It was so humid and hot - all I could do was watching the visitors... who could stay inside some aircon-pub and have a cool beer, but no, they prefer visiting me!
Can you believe that?!
Bites one piece off of a hat, no?!"

Yes, blogger "allowed" me back in! Happy Sunday...

And with that I am back at...

If late...

Pythagoras (570–495 BC)
Pythagoras is best known for the Pythagorean theorem, which is now one of the cornerstones of geometry. His contributions changed the way mathematicians think and understand triangular relationships."
