I got Jeff Koons "Balloon Dog" as keyholders - aren´t they too cute?

 

 

Remember the gigantic red one hopping about at "Night at the Museum"?

I  tried to capture them in the kitchen cause this is for Nicole´s...

 

 ... but I hope the balcony counts as room, too and gives you for Gillena some...

Hihi.. Erika said to be happy I met Dad. I remember when Ingo and I went to Bremen with him and his "star-friends". I ordered Labskaus at the restaurant and they had the beetroot IN it - just like I by accident did at age 14 and Dad got really upset.

 

Now I can laugh seeing his face when I got it just that way!!!

All his friends wanted to taste and I left hungry. 

 

 

The Magical Dragon

 

 

Sorry my hands are in there, but I think the dragon´s reflection makes it worth it and no, I simply was too lazy to use the timer....

Also so you see it´s real. Yes, that is an easy excuse... 

 

 

I got this beauty at the TDN (Tag der Niedersachsen / Day of people from Lower Saxony).

Maybe you do not know:

Duke Henry The Lion was already in his 30´s when he got married to Mathilde from England - she was but a child. 

Gentleman Henry was he broke his wedding ring in half, gave her one, went on a pilgrimage and told her if he won´t be back in 7 years  - when she is an adult - she may re-marry,

He made it back in time and they lead a happy life, I reckon.

 

Anyways, in Africa he heard someone screaming for his life!!!!

 

He took his sword and investigated, brave man he was.

 

A Lion was desperate fighting off a dragon and the dragon was about to win!!! 

Henry killed the dragon, named the Lion Henry, who not only considered the Duke his friend but - with the devil´s help came with him to Braunschweig.

And now, that the Duke is long gone, takes care of all of us.

 

P.S. that really is but the same dragon! It changes color when you move it! 

I thought the title was clear... one magical dragon...

 

 

Care And Defeat

Yes. I hardly leave the house these days. No one but Ingo sees me much but... this is my joy, art. I don´t buy much otherwise and all these things were not that expensive and made with love. Well... these are .. hmmmm...in honor to  Nicole´s...

 SITAR, who sadly has to skip - I´m wishing you well, dear Nicole!!! Better soon with the might of a dragon and the angel´s help...

As said I met some nice women selling art at the buskers - and for a reasonable price, too, so I dug in!

As an "excuse"... I come from a family of goldsmiths, so...

And as this art makes me smile I join Gillena´s...

The eye actually is an earring and I bought it cause my Dad gave me the eye-color green-grey.

A real goldsmith ... well.. these are so heavy I put it on my bracelet and maybe the other... who knows, but ... pretty, huh?

And I have my Dad with me.
