Sorry it´s blurry - I am right-handed... and took it with my left.

I will return today to get more!!! They were so kind... Italians, right? Always nice... they gave me a kid´s-size pizza and in a carton so that made three meals.
And they did NOT laugh about me!
Is food art? Yes and I had the rest in the living room, so.... this is for Nicole´s...
The future is being made here in Braunschweig. We do have a research airport (English link) and any plane that goes down by accident gets inspected here, too. City of Science, you´re welcome!
... drove into a side-road and...could not touch where he wanted to, thanks to the dungarees!!!
I was SO SCARED!!!
And yet all calm and just said, "my parents wait for me and if I´m not there in 20 minutes they call the police.". I was 14 years old. I´ll never forget that FEAR!!!
He was that dumb he drove me home.
I never called my parents in the first place...! How???
Düsseldorf. A waiter put a note under my soft-drink with his phone number.
My female friend and I ran away (I was 19) - he followed us!!!
Hildesheim, I was 22. I got SO DARN SCARED!
Was in a phone booth and a man... whooo, my goodness. Three times..
A young man saw what´s happening and helped me out.
Ingo says in his company they use the word "vergewaltigen" as ...?
In English it´s "getting raped" and for sure I get a "tad" sensitive on this. They speak of handling material badly...
Huge fight.
Please .... understand... how it is like being small.
Depend on your brain or to fellow people.
Do not use the nasty word.
I am 54 now and it still... hurts and frightens me.
"Derby, Western Australia, is famous for having the largest tides in Australia—and the second-largest in the Southern Hemisphere— with a staggering range of up to 11.8 meters (387 feet). This extreme fluctuation is caused by the funnel shape of King Sound and the expansive continental shelf."
Looks like we get another wonderful day here in boring "little" Braunschweig and my plan:
Slowly with my still hurting back walk to the city.
And in my mind...
See, Ingo got me Finalgon, extra strong heat cream - and with that in the real heat it feels like being in the Outback!
We drove around with three cassettes taken with songs from the radio in Germany as ... real radio? In the Outback? Haha, no, of course not!
Mobile phones?! Haha. GPS? 1999 we had a paper map (still do, hangs in the bedroom).
This was one of my favs:
In case you need the lyrics, here goes:
Get up in the morning, slaving for bread, sir So that every mouth can be fed Poor, poor me, Israelites (ah-ah)
Get up in the morning, slaving for bread, sir So that every mouth can be fed Poor, poor me, the Israelite
My wife and my kids, they packed up and a-leave me Darling, she said, "I was yours to receive" Poor, poor me, the Israelite
Shirt, them a-tear up, trousers are gone I don't want to end up like Bonnie and Clyde Poor me, the Israelite
After a storm, there must be a calm They catch me in the farm You sound your alarm Poor, poor me, Israelites, hey
I said I get up in the morning, slaving for bread, sir So that every mouth can be fed Poor, poor me, Israelites, ah
My wife and my kids, they are packed up and leave me Darling, she said, "I was yours to receive" Poor, poor me, Israelites, ah
Look, shirt, them a-tear up, trousers are gone I don't want to end up like Bonnie and Clyde Poor a-poor me, Israelites, ah
After a storm, there must be a calm They catch me in the farm, you sound your alarm Poor, poor me, Israelites, hey-hey-hey Poor, poor me, Israelites Dem a wonder we not working so hard Poor, poor me, Israelites
I wanted to show you this sweet face always. Must be in his 40s by now - and hope very, very much he does well. I could tell many a story, let me share one GOOD one.
Little Aborigine boy, more staggering than walking came up to me in a diner. Pointed at me and exclaimed happily: "You,... girl!" - turned to Ingo, pointed, "you,... boy!!"
It was the sweetest!
The parents had soft drinks and a brand new car.
Ours was 1984-brand, Nissan Patrol LWB, and the best car ever. Feel the heat? Why bug you with Perth only, right? We saw "a bit" more of this wonderful country (and where did I get bitten by Charlotte? Yep, on the porch in Madeley/Perth...).
Let me also show you:
Our exhaust broke. In the middle of nowhere - on Aborigine-land (we had a permit!):
Ingo fixed it with this can.
Always drink your vegetable juice, I tell ya!
And, Tom, yips, I feel music atm! Might be the constant back-pain...
Music helps!
No Henry as... back in the day I lived with Ingo and his Grandma in Rhüden.
After we sadly, sadly had to move out of "Baby" and sell "him".
He (!) was our car, our bedroom and sometimes our dining room.
For Tom´s Signs2 let us go back to Perth Zoo (OK I lied last Saturday, kinda, but this is not about critters in that way, so I did not lie?)
So, let´s explore this:
Let´s start with.... some...
OK, here goes:
And that´s how it´s done:
Spoiled kid, that, huh?
.... aaaand....
"Hello World"? Will I be in the IT-business? Now that would be a fun idea, penguins programming our world!
It would be a good one, I bet! Here is the whole stuff:
And if you want to see them for real visit us here! As Sami, J , Ingo and I share the same wedding day, Sami presented us early as she went to Adelaide in FiFo to celebrate.
This is a word-mix of energy and "gönnen", "treat" yourself. And with this I join Elizabeth´s T.
The journal:
Monday: Wow. Ingo is such a good window cleaner a little bird knocked right into the balcony glass... It flew into a tree and after a while flew off. Why does a bird do that, there are stickers on the glass!
Aaaaand! I am an ole bugger. Tom had to help me out with the mural and now I know there is a "Google Lens" and it also works on the PC! Thank you, Tom! All the stuff I have no idea of!
We´re together since 1994. Ingo said, "I need to pee and then go to bed." I thought, just give him a good-night-kiss there. Ingo, "Give me a pee-kiss?". Two people, one thought. ...To men peeing seated!
Tuesday: T What´sApped, so nice!
And, OMG, are we lucky we survived the carnivore drop-bears in Australia!!!!
Please give it a go, it is #1 in the following clip.
It´s a "bit" long with many repetitions per number, just skip otherwise and I can assure you... there are no drop-bears.
Btw I had a further training in Bielefeld - it does exist...
Wednesday: Put my CV up to date. Oh, I hate OpenOffice Word!
Other laundry, oh, my back!
Thursday: Life is crazy. Since Saturday I could not eat properly, only apple, yogurt and such. Felt very sick. This morning much better, put a Pizza-baguette in the air-fryer and phone went off:
From a short-term project in June to a 2-3 YEAR-project in July - likely!!!
I wonder... did my body sense the news? fE also told mK to hurry a bit cause she wants me back, as much as he does. I´m happy!
Also only this morning I finally set my neglected flip-calendar to the correct date - crazy, huh.
Ingo ordered the expensive chair for my private PC-place, so this fella can go to my work-place. The training at ALSTOM I did from a folding chair!
Friday: That neighbor is the dumbest, really. No one sits or plays in their garden and yet he mowed the grass and of course the daisies and dandelions. Why care for the bees. "Idjit!", as Bobby´d say.
Weekend: Saturday: It warmed up!!! 29C / 84F and Ingo not only helped me with medical heat cream (since days) for my hurting back but also with a medical corset. Hmm... cozy.
Instead of enjoying the balcony I lay in bed, back straight, reading.
At least with these glasses you can lie on you back and have the book on your stomach.
Ingo pressure washed the balcony walls. When my back is better I will paint them. The joy when you own, not rent!
First BBQ.
AND!!!!! They survived!!!!
Sunday: Back-pain.
Ingo forgot to buy eggs, so I went to the gas station. They have beer, Schnapps, Pizza and all but no fresh eggs :-(
Spare you the sad rest. Sometimes you wish for a new life, huh.
At least I can walk again (back pain).
We could´ve had a great weekend but Ingo decided . No.
