T STands For Fiz

With a Fiz! I join Elizabeth´s T!
Note: I´d rather put money into ... research against cancer, for Mother Earth than ... but don´t  these  space-guys look so cute?

The journal representing last week:

Monday: "Viral shit" (TV) and "What the f#ck" (cf)... ahhh, my sweet life... Nice long chat and got project#1 done, started #2. No work? I find some!

Dinner: Ingo´s super-yummy half-roulade.

I dunno.  The poor whale that is stuck here... since weeks money and passion goes into the rescue. Likely of no use.
Ukraine????  Priorities? Tell me off, but have you seen all the "boys", "children" as the mayor of Kiev calls them, ... fighting for all of us losing arms, legs -- their lives... and what he forgot: Also "girls"!!! Put the money into helping THEM. I did. More than once.

Tuesday: My calendar-page  told me like a mirror: "I am not small! I am a concentrate."
Sticks  on the door now :-)

What´s-Apped this to tall cf and asked how the night was (parents' evening etc) - we What´s-Apped at the same time.
Another accident in their street. Here again... I go out, firefighters as well again. See the positive:
After an accident you drive more careful and in my case: Most people have 15 minutes time waiting and helpers are out and about.

It is SPRING! Ingo came home and I got a KISS! 💓 (you have to understand, as back then me and many others of you, too, we have to fight traffic to get home and here finding a place to park the car... oh, my - a LOT of stress!)

Wednesday: Door bell. "Ingo?" The surname was too complicated but the mailman spoke good English. I think German is overrated here? I just wonder what people do who don´t speak English (he had some questions, too). Now I have Lemon Tree on my mind as "I wonder" and need to get that off! You´re welcome.

Thursday: Tomorrow is a public holiday, Labour Day or "Dance into May".
I remember my Dad picked those white blossoms  and put them over my bed when I was a kid.
These days?! Suddenly security at the grocery stopping Muslim people who go aggressive.
What´s going wrong in the world?
A young man and I wanted to enter and go by - he gave me way - I am officially old ;-)

Friday: Slept in (public holiday) then Ingo helped me with my cam. I really ruined the cam´s port due to too often usage, but Ingo found a solution.
In these things I have to rely on him!!! Other I really try to be more independent!
Sun is out,  21C / 70F and we MAY (hihi, sorry) get warmer even!
Gosh, another month again! Happy May! Seems I can EAT again!!! A bit. A start :-)

Weekend: Saturday: I skipped Rudy Rucker´s 4th dimension  (I tried this 3 times!!!!) - Ingo made me jump (very, very boringly) into the 5th dimension with the movie Interstellar! Time is a physical dimension. But "they" didn´t bring humans to change the past of dying Mother Earth. It´s gravity! Or... is it?
And the "hero" is 140 years old when... If you wanna watch the movie ... skip the first 2 hours.
And cry of joy in the end.

By myself, huh.
Got the huge, broken flower box out myself. Made it outside in one piece and...
...and... yes, this I have to mention:
A Muslim woman offered help and opened the container.
See... for some we are but PEOPLE!!!

Sunday: I measured. Outcome.. wrong, Whose fault? Cut out-guy? Me?
Who knows. See butcher...

26C, SUMMER, and BOOOOOOOM, weekend down. No BBQ, Ingo slept on the couch, yes, p# life. AGAIN, since over two years.
I had a Kuhlman-A-0-machine for technical drawings when studying and I did it wrong? Not even considering the other guy...
TV: Railway :-)

Munchy:

Henry 🦁

.... weeee!

I like that cute little Lemon Tree song, "nothing ever happens" is true here too. I sit inside with my laptop and TV and sometimes there is shopping and cooking, but the days are getting colder now and inside is warmer.

Yes, nothing ever happens here, either. I´m waiting for my job. And other I find jobs here inside the home! I found crumpets and will do some cooking! Other I find joy in seeing Harry. He´s just too cute! (Thank you).

I like the yogurt and fruit. Yum! What is Henry chasing? Happy T Day, Iris!

Iris Flavia said...

Sharon I think Henry is making sure that little piggy (?) is OK on it´s run around! He means no harm, he´s a carer...

I'm enjoying the Lemon Song. I remember it from way back!
Beached whales are so sad. We never seem to be able to help them. Don't know why. I hope they succeed with this one, but as you say, usually they are not successful.
I am also Konzentrat! (1m50) That's a good word. Thanks.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

I tried to read about the whale, but it wouldn't let me. Says I have to subscribe if I want to read the article ($8.99/mo).

Loved the quote on your calendar. Your yogurt and berries look yummy.

I had to laugh at More Fiz. What a great name for a drink. And I agree those space guys are adorable. Thanks for sharing your food, calendar, drink and Henry with us for T this Tuesday, dear Iris.

BTW, I am not a medical doctor, but I have a Ph.D., therefore Dr. Elizabeth.

Way back ;-) Oh, that dude is an old guy now! Like me!
Yes, how happens whales get stuck. Our fault, life?
To Konzentraten! We´re full of power, right - happy T-Day!

Iris Flavia said...

Oh, what?! Here the article was for free, I am sorry. I suspect the poor whale didn´t make it.
The yogurt is super-yummy with fresh fruit.
Let´s Fiz!
Thank you for clarifying that Dr.-title :-) To a happy T-Day!

I will, Tom, I sure will do! Hope you like warm temps, too!

I can't dance. A young man gave me a seat on the streetcar the other day. We had a beautiful spring day yesterday, but it was just teasing us.
I like to be very independent as well. May 1 was my mother's birthday and I remember her talking about May Poles.

Oh, that poor whale. ANd Ukraine. We are finally getting warmer temperatures (alternating with freezing nights -- literally). But every time it happens, I keep hoping it's here to stay!

I really like the quote about not being small. I had one year of German decades ago in college, and I don't remember much, but I could read the whole quote except for the concentrate. I guess we do store things in our brains for a long time...grin. It sounds like a good week, and I hope this week is great too. Happy T day. hugs-Erika

Your little drawings are so cute, Iris. I hope that you will be soon having a BBQ.

Another busy week. I like the not short just concentrated! The blueberries in your yogurt make a face. That put a smile on mine. Happy T Day

Hello iris,
I enjoyed your journals and sketches, the whale is a favorite.
I like yogurt with fruit too. Enjoy your day and the week ahead.

Iris Flavia said...

Sometimes I dance in my mind :-) And yay to May poles. To independence. Especially as we get older!

Iris Flavia said...

Yes, that whale is sick. So the money and effort... I saw too many pics of those "crippled" Ukrainian "kids", it makes me truly sad. We could do better in so many ways and I would Cheer to that.

Iris Flavia said...

I hope we have Summer soon - for all of us, Ukraine, too... so many fled here and sure miss their home. Which likely is gone....

Iris Flavia said...

We´re tall inside, Erika! My fav admin n height is not much more than me but.. a concentrate :-) I hope to have him back soon - to a great new week! Hugs

Iris Flavia said...

Thank you, RedPat and weeeee.... the weather went "down the drain"! But we need some rain, too.

Iris Flavia said...

To smiles and being a concentrate - we come out huge! Just try us, right.

Iris Flavia said...

Thank you, Eileen, got new fruit :-) To a great week ahead, if rainy now, but I love rain.

ugh I wish there was no such thing as war, leaders around the world need to start thinking of others and not just their own ego. I've never tried fizzy peach drink, sounds refreshing. Have a great week.

Your yogurt and berries look good.

All the best Jan

Dear friend Iris, I am a huge fan of your sketches!!! And I love them all here! Henry looks fantastic!
I am a bit late in responding to blogs, I had a bone density exam today.
Sending you much love and hugs!

I read the article which says the whale has skin damage from a lack of salinity in the areas where he was trapped, and I am hoping the regular salt water where he is now will help him recover. It may seem like a useless endeavour to some, but I am glad they tried.

Iris Flavia said...

Yes, not their ego sending others, they should go themselves! To fizzy and have a great week!

Iris Flavia said...

Thank you and yes, yummy :-)

Iris Flavia said...

Thank you, dear friend Linda - oh I should take that exam, too - it´s been a while!!! Much love and hugs!

Iris Flavia said...

Well, some said he suffers a lot, so I am not sure if that was right. It reminded me of my Dad who suffered so long, too, as back then morphine was badly dosed... And I think a lot of money was involved that could´ve helped in other ways...

Love all of your drawings especially the lips. LOL I'm so sorry the whale is suffering. Greek yogurt with a bit of honey is my morning starter. Looks like Henry is after his breakfast too. Have a good day today.

Iris Flavia said...

Thank you, yes to kisses!! On to the yogurt - the whale is off the news so....
