Half A FFO And Yum

Ok, with this "face" I join Nicole´s FFO.

I admit. With the job on hold ... all I manage is the regular T-Day-journal, sketch-wise.
You might think, "oh, she has all the time of the world in her hands, so, what´s the problem?!"
Anxiety?
Ingo has a job, the condo is ours etc, etc, but I was raised different, I want to work but I want to work at ESE.
They try and if... or when (!) I get my job back I bet I can go "arty" again, in my minimal talent, just not now...

So, let´s rather go for some funnies?

Please meet...

1999, long before Supernatural, Ingo named our car....

...Iris, is that knife holder in your kitchen? Your parents just wanted you to be a flower child! I wish you a happy playtime soon.

Iris Flavia said...

Sadly no, but I have a Vodoo-knife holder, Tom.
Yes, I sure wore flowers - the 70´s were wonderful!!!! Let´s always play - no matter how old we are!

My name is Erika. said...

That's a scary knife holder but Nicole will love it. And thanks for those memes. I had a great loud laugh with the cat eating more tuna than people. :) And my parents were ultra-conservative 1950's folk, so sadly I never had clothes like that. I wish I did. :) Have a super rest of your FRiday. hugs-Erika

Hello Iris,
Cute images and memes. The train one is cute. It is hard being an adult. Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend.

Iris Flavia said...

Some cool knife-holder, huh! If we had the space... Yah, don´t eat (too many?) people.
Dad was really into 70´s style and so am I - to Ingo´s dismay ;-)
Have a great rest of Friday, hugs - and... why not put on the clothes now? I saw 1970´s style jeans here!

Eileen, I think of stopping adulting. But just today I had to give work-advice! To a happy day and weekend.

You have some wonderful faces here and some very fun memes that made me smile!

Creating smiles was my goal, Jeanie!

Ein herzhaftes Lachen bei all' den zusammen getragenen Bildern. Spaß muss sein, das ist wichtiger denn je, finde ich.
Muntere Grüße von Heidrun

Danke, Heidrun, wer braucht makeup? ;-)
Hab einen schönen Freitag, mit munteren Grüßen, Iris

I had a floral outfit like the little girl. I was 13 and it had a sheer blouse. What was Ma thinking! Supernatural wouldn't be the show without the Impala. Enjoy your weekend.

Iris Flavia said...

Thank you - I still am parked away, job-wise... so again I´m just one half!

Iris Flavia said...

LOL, your Ma sure thought you´re pretty in that!!! Yes to the Impala!

I remember this scull and always wanted to make one. Maybe I still will. Art has to come as easily as breathing. If you are not into it right now, don't worry. You always have wonderful posts and I love that you share with FFO. Have a very good weekend.

Iris Flavia said...

RedPat, yes!!!!

Iris Flavia said...

Thank you, Nicole. I´ll sure be back with a bit of "art"
To a very good weekend!

I recall bell bottoms, but I was older than the kids in the photo.

The 70s for me meant corduroy pants, everyone had them, but I only had one pair in brown. When they wore out I didn't replace them, I chose jeans instead.
The Impala is definitely the right car for Dean. We never named our cars.

Iris Flavia said...

Yes, cool holder, mine is a vodoo-man :-)

Iris Flavia said...

Thank you Jan, the same to you.

Iris Flavia said...

Dear friend Linda, you´re welcome, love and hugs on the way back!

Iris Flavia said...

I had some trousers like that :-) - I loved them.

Iris Flavia said...

I had such a pair, too. and later - in my 30´s... (ummm) one mixed with jeans, 70´s style, I think I still have them!!!
We also only gave those cars we lived in a name. But funny Ingo chose that name.

Happy weekend. Somehow the FFO didn't show up for me on Friday. (I had nothing to post anyway)
LOL.... The earliest photo of me that I have seen looks like my parents just put "whatever" on me. I have stripes going around on my shirt, and vertical stripes on my pants.

Have a good week end. I like your memes, my favorite are the lying children (as you know running is one of my favorite topics) and the cat that doesn't remember.

dOh my goodness ... you do carry on 😁 Roadrunners are fun to watch at any speed. Coyote's not so much 🤣 Your train is too friendly to be scary. You need a mean looking train in that picture. And, as a kid I wore blue jeans all of the time and it wasn't my parents choice. Of course, I had to wear a dress or skirt and blouse to school, but I switched to jeans as soon as I got home. And, guess what I wear every day now 😊

LOL to remembering the clothes - weren´t it happy times? No one cared, we had but FUN!

Iris Flavia said...

Meep-meep, Black Knight!! Don´t eat "a people"...

Iris Flavia said...

Well, coming from railway... huhhh, but this was from FB :-) I never saw a Roadrunner or Coyote in Germany... sadly?
I´m wearing jeggins right now!
