Forgot To Show You
These pics are from the begin of this month, I totally forgot about them but they´re too good not to share :-)
There are German words that are just plain stupid.
This we call "oldtimer" not vintage car.
A cellphone we call "Handy"!
And when you watch soccer on a big, public screen we call it (outchy) "public viewing"!!!
(Well.... on the other hand... death, soccer.... huh? ;-)...)
I could go on with a "smoking" for a tuxedo etc etc...
Our "wedding car" was our friend´s SUV and we had a rainbow, something special - especially in Perth, no?
And I was "stuck" between Ingo and their son in the back, too :-)
Mind you: What can be better?
Not this but this:
Or both, as Ingo´s Dad says: Either you get old or you die - I prefer to get old :-)...
BTW! I DO learn small talk! Late, but better late than never, right?
Ingo asked to buy 10 "TV-sausages", so I went and rememered the yummy potato-salad and ordered that, too, and somehow I... I!!!! - started a small talk with the "Fleischereifachverkäuferin" (another "beautiful" German word for someone who sells meat and such professionally!).
I´m getting old and I´m loving it!!!
Small talk, me, starting it :-)

Sometimes I Wonder
Well, to be honest... I saw a hairdresser over ... well way over a year ago.
And thanks to the stupid med I lost a lot of hair, too (not that I had much).
05:26, it´s dark :-(
And there is the very most stupid stuff on TV!!! "Beauty and the Beast".
I wonder. Where do they find actors for this? "You were never asked to be a beast"... oh, my goodness who can say that without bursting into laughter????
Or even answer that????
I´m sitting here, laughing in wonder and yes, you can do that, laugh in wonder! (Silently, according to the early hour).
I wonder a lot.
Yesterday I just went up to a strange couple and asked for a seat at Schadt´s!
(I´m the very most shyest person in the world)
And in the end we had fun.
Guess I was "the beast", LOL.
Big clean-up today cause tomorrow the most useless person will show up.
The chimney sweeper - who needs.... aw, well, they make money, right. And give me a reason to clean up.
Will also see our family doc. And ask for advice what to do about "the stupid doc".
I´ll do it with a smile cause... "I feel good" :-)
Love, btw... (See first pic - they always played the song "Love is in the air")
Our #4!
Well... certainly he´s nothing like the guy I told "I´m your age" and he replied.... "I´m an old man" - LOL, what an .... well, but a cute one:
Our #21 :-)

The Tanzbein
Well, there is no such word as a "Tanzbein", certainly.
But my ex-teamleader, T, goes dancing (mostly) every Thursday.
So I jokingly called it "Tanzbein" - dancing leg.
Well.
Every day we e-mail (his girlfriend died and I was on the wagon all the time - it took so long, it was truly heartbreaking).
After they "took me away from him" I stayed with him via e-mail.
She died September 18th last year, but I am certainly still there, right? Right.
And so yesterday he wrote he´ll have his Tanzbein on Thursday (it was too hot all those weeks).
You know.
Bro said I break down "helping" T - but now I had to smile sooooo big. :-) T wrote "Tanzbein".
He´s Ingo´s age and I wish him all the best, all the luck, he´s a great guy.
When he came into our team he always hid his left hand.
It was summer, HOT!
I wore a shirt ... we call it spaghetti... not a t-shirt, but no "arms" at all and my scars looked still bad (not that I cared).
Went over, he saw the scars, looked "shocked", then smiled and showed me his hand.
Two fingers were missing - an accident.
What the heck, right?
We´re here :-)
My Tanzbein :-)
He always wishes us a great weekend (he knows Ingo in person).
I SO wish he finds a great woman soon.
We went through so much (divorce, sickness etc). Life should be fair(er)....
At least he can dance!!!

What I Am Looking Forward To
Spotted this couple yesterday - bad shot, you cannot see, but they were holding hands.
I DO believe Ingo will have full hair like his Dad and - despite T always laughs, old people tend to wear white trousers....
OH! Wait!
Don´t you just have to laugh now?
(Wedding 2013, Lake at Neil Hawkins Park, Joondalup).
On my way home I saw this, no idea what´s under that, really:
You know what they say about such cars and the size of...
Well... we...
"6ZY 416"
As a German you have to learn this in English.
Numbers are a problem for the brain. When we bought the bike gadgets we chatted in German with the French lady. Then I had to pay and she went silently (well, I don´t remember the real price) "Treize-deux..."
Ohhh, I SO hope some day we can repeat this!
Just buy a wonderful car and go into the Outback, see the stars at night.
I have my life back!!!
And I do!
Lion of the day, right?

Let´s PARTYyyyyy
Well let´s put it this way:
I have my life back!!!!
June 26th I took the first 10mg of citalopram and turned into a zombie for most of the day, then went even up to 20mg.
August 15th that stupid doc told me to stop and I lived a horror-life.
My goodness, I thought I might die, not kidding.
10mg was still wayyyy too much but since Ingo suggested to cut it down to 5 mg I feel GOOD!
From tomorrow on I´ll cut it down to 5mg only every second day for a week and then... THEN I´m TOTALLY free!
What a stupid unnecessary journey that was!
A life-lesson for sure!
NO to drugs!!!!
Buuuut... I´m back! :-)
This, though, is sad...
But I will not give in.
Come equinox I maybe will have to accept (and frankly, I´m "afraid" of the dark half of the year, but I keep Perth in January in mind, right?).
Lion of this day.
To life!!!!
Thanks everyone of you who stayed with me despite my jabbering!
It was "hell".
And you helped me through it. Thank you!!
No more shivering, gagging, I can eat (and I do!!!! :-)...)
IT
Pic taken Am Neuen Petritore, by... someone.
Someone who likes clowns - or does that person? The clown is upside-down.
Even as a kid, I remember (and that is a looong time ago) I didn´t like clowns.
They´re as funny as Krusty...

Filled With Dreams & Wishes
Well, one day, ONE day I´ll have a real cat (or two).
For the time being these have to do.
Couldn´t resist this (and it´s useful, too, it´s soap):
There must be a connection between Lions and Swans (I see one):
(Occational) Lion of the day.
I´m good thanks to Ingo! Now I´m not sure: Take 5mg or 0 of citalopram?

Up, Up, Slowly Up
Very slowly I´m on the way up.
Listened to Ingo and went down to 5 mg - 5, not 20!!!!
We shortly had another beautiful rain:
Ingo opened the windows to let in cool air, but it´s no use with the thick walls (and I enjoy it, but don´t telll him ;-)...)
(Occasional) Lion of the day.

Crazy
Oh, this is some crazy summer!
I just watched aa docu on... tadaa... ice-cream.
Ben & Jerry lost big. Winner: ALDI!
And did you know there is a Flavour Graveyard?
From 31C it dropped to 22 :-(
Is summer really over?
New side-effect: dizziness.
A crazy summer.

Fuzzy
By golly, why is this?
Getting off the drug is even harder. I do not know which day it is, what time, I´m all fuzzy and numb.
Is this "normal"?
If someone is told to take citalopram... don´t. If I help even only one person with this the three lost months were worth for him or her.
I´m hurting Ingo and myself.
I just wanna be "me" again.
And why would anyone like to wear such a fuzzy sweater?
Well, glad we all can choose, right? And glad we´re all individuals.

For Whom?
I went to our lille pharmacy with my prescription for a very, very last med.
Long story short: I payed to get it later (they had the red one and had to order).
Ingo went to get softdrink as my hands were still shaking and offered to get the med.
I gave him the slip.
Our pharmacist, who knows us both - and together, too - took the slip and came back with a serious face.
"You´re getting this for someone else? I cannot give it to you unless you tell me for whom", he said.
Ingo said, "my wife".
"The name?"
And only as Ingo said my name he gave it to him and only cause he knows us.
This stuff IS evil, I tell ya!
Never ever take anything like this!
I WILL complain about that person who forced me into it despite I told her I am not depressed but burned out.
Despite I told her I actually don´t want anything like it.
Despite I asked her if there is anything else to know.
(Noooo, half of Germans take it, was her answer).
I lost three months of our life, more or less.
Yes, I was there, mostly. The drug wears off come, say, five p.m. - but the rest?
I sat in front of the TV like a Zombi, no more sport, nothing.
Before?
I got up when Ingo left (he woke me around 05:00 A.M.!), did my training, went into the sun for walks etc, etc...
This med makes you sick!
I feel very dumb... and sad. (But not sad enough to be called depressive cause I LOVE life, Ingo, family etc, etc).
My therapist said I am not to feel dumb cause I was vulnerable at the time. And influenceable. I still feel dumb!
I even misplaced Ingo´s car key and he does not believe me I didn´t do it on purpose!
The tapering is even worse.
My face, oh goodness. Like a teenager (and only the chin).
THE summer and I am off :-(

They All Had One
As usual I sadly have no idea of who the artist was.
But what a motive in these days!
Employees who tell the truth at VW get fired and it shows up in the news.
My first car ride in 1972 (not that I remember) was in such one.
Mum´s "flip-over" in snow in the 60´s... a Käfer, too.
Dad... Käfer.
Everyone had one!
My first car...
...Holden (Opel). Good one, no accident.

Sad Or Good (Childhood And Fear)
Bro called cause I´d asked via e-mail if Big Niece has a wish for her birthday.
She´ll be 8 then... EIGHT!
And it´s so funny how different siblings can be!
Over generations, too!
I e-mail, he phones.
Each time when Big Niece is around when we´re on the phone he asks her if she likes to talk to me and she won´t (we don´t see each other often).
The younger one always grabs the phone - without being asked, too. Bro is also the younger one!
Pic?
Bro told me Big Niece went to a training.
What do you do when a stranger talks to you? (OK when I was a kid my parents told me to never go with a man I don´t know (a man!)).
What do you do...
They were even trained to kick a male in the right parts.
And to stretch the arms wide if someone wants to drag them into a car. And then - if this fails to cling to the frame.
What kind of a childhood is this?
They´re taught to fear, aren´t they?
We roamed free (of fear).
But it certainly is good they are taught the skills.
The other day a 14 year old girl was raped by an Afghan who´d been accused of many different crimes.
"Asylum seeker", yeah, sure :-(
My Nieces? I´m afraid for them.
Next year they will have a mini-repeat of that training.
But, really...
Don´t you "freeze" if something "really" happens to you? I think I would.
Let´s hope no one has to find out.
Thank you, Angela Merkel. You live with security and welcome everybody.
Can you give us security, too? (No).
I just don´t feel for a Lion of the day, I´m shocked to have learned this about my Big Niece...

That´s How We Do It
Yes, that´s how our hall looks like.
I think it was three years ago and I had to take overtime and made these - the pics are from a magazine, though.
Doesn´t this look just like Hamelin Pool?
I have to sneak in a little fun here, btw.
We´d slept in our beautiful Nissan Patrol LWB (sneak-pic)...
(Taken in 1999 in Kingsway Tourist Park, where we´ll return to next year and in German cars are male, too)....
We were up when a busload of tourists arrived.
Their guide led them to the "pool" whilst we started preparing brekkie.
Another sneak-in:
The bus-driver called us over to have brekkie together - he had Weet-Bix to share and also told us Dettol with baby-oil makes a great mossie-repellent :-)
But back to the garlands, right? ;-)
Others invest and put cable under the walls.
We don´t.
Ingo just hung them and I decorated them - cheap and nice, don´t you think?
I like it!
Lion of the day :-)
Teufel (see door-sticker above) sells electronics btw....
