What A Sat - Part II - Some Summer Rain!

Phew, the heat is really taking over! With walls 60 cm thick you sure have a heating here. Only 06:00 am and already 19C, all windows open - no use! 27C inside. HUMID.

Well... back to Saturday... after we watched the parade we checked a new place out, the braubar.
We ordered two kinds of Ale.

It took forever, the beer was lukewarm and tasted funny.
Ingo got some ice - and had to put it in the glasses by hand, not even a spoon was there.
The waitress asked if we like the beer. And we said no.

3 minutes later the master brewer showed up.
Well, he tried to sell proper Ale, but "the Germans" won´t have it, so he made a German version.
But it was nice he at least explained.

We certainly went to Schadt´s to get that taste away!

Yes, it really was that awful!

Whilst we sat there the parade took the main road, quite a walk to go still.
The sky darkened. I was streetsmart and grabbed the only two roofed places in time cause.... look what happened (better with sound on)!

Video by Ingo and I have no idea who is screaming! LOL....

Boy, I love me some good summer rain, but the poor peeps on the wagons had no place to hide!
This heavy rain went on for some 45 minutes, too!
And then it was again hot, hot, hot.
Crazy weather!

Lion of the day :-)

That was some heavy rain, looks a bit like what we're having at the moment.
Here in Summer we leave windows and blinds/curtains shut so the heat doesn't come into the house and just open the windows at night.

Blinds are closed also, but we don´t dare leaving anything open at night, it´s not safe as we live ground-level...

Oh Ingo's face with the ughy beer 😀😀 I absolutely agree, summer rain is fabulous! That was quite a substantial downpour!
