One... WITH Ham

I looked up Domino´s and ordered a medium Pizza WITH ham! I used to find hot ham ewww-y and now? YUM.
First time I payed via Paypal (and yes, we gave a tip - the poor guy brought the pizza via bicycle!!! in 30C!).

Box from BIG W, soon I´ll "live" but 5 minutes to walk there.
And today I sent a letter to the Australian Embassy Berlin. Let´s see how that goes.

A medium size and we shared AND I had a brekkie from it, too... (and then the med, eww).

Yep Hawaiian. With a soft "w" - as Barcelona, the "c" is like an "th" and my Mum would personally go on your throat if you pronounced a "c" :-)
The heat!

T wrote "back to the heat, I´ve gone nuts already" - well soon I´ll have to complain about the cold anyways!

Hmmmm, that was yum!

If they have to advertise they make the dough "fresh/new" every day.... aw. I studied in Hildesheim, a rather unfriendly city and every Christmas they had the slogan "The friendly Hildesheimer". Hm.
You do not have to advertise what you do or are, right?

Another hot day of a summer to remember! Or a year, rather...
Hope you have something very yummy today, too.
Let me know!

Lion(s) of the day, right around the corner :-)

P.S.... how I know it´s Thursday:
The new "maintenance man" bumps into our door at least 30 times, cleaning (he has to let you know he´s doing the job!).
And T let´s me know if he´s swinging his "Tanzbein"... oh, we´re so silly. His "dance leg" (he´s dancing on Thursdays) - the heat, did I ever mention this? I come up with some "fantasy" word and he takes it. LOL, like the big brother I was looking for.

Can't remember the last time I had a pizza.
Hildesheim advertising themselves as friendly that's funny.
Regarding the maintenance man I remembered when we lived in Braunschweig and each neighbour had to clean the stairs by turn. When it was my turn I used to make sure not to bang on doors on stair railings because it upset me that the others did it. I was wrong, as the neighbours thought I didn't clean the stairs, and one day someone knocked on our dog to say so and Jose had to tell her that yes we did clean the stairs, we just didn't make the noise the others did!!

You made me laugh SO hard, Sami!
Same here, when we lived in Karlstreet we had to take turns, and I was careful, too.
But our landlord lived kinda in his door and saw I do it (he once told Ingo to move his car 50 cm and the neighbour was warned to not again threw batteries in the rubbish bin).

I so can imagine your culture and mine colliding (I´m no German, then, hehe, too careful).

I do like a Hawaiian pixzza. Sounds good about now.

Quiet morning on the lake here. Wish I could send you some "cool."

I heard a funny story Iris.. The reason some people still say Barthalona is because one of the past rulers had a lisp and couldn't pronounce the 'c' and because many were terrified of him they pronounced it that way too, but it really should be Barcelona 😀

Now, Grace, THAT would be a story as my Mum´s friend was from Barc(th)elona - I never met her, but now I have a picture, LOL :-)
My Mum also insisted on saying Bockenem with a hard k but even on radio it was "Bokenem" with a soft "k".
Mums, right? xox
