TGIF (It´s Friday Again!)
I had the choice: Carry 20 rolls of plain TP or 10 of these arty ones.
So I go with Tom, ALOHA! :-)
And yes, that´s our toilet paper-holder/spender...
Did you have such a camera? (for real?)
Thanks to "Corinna" we did not visit the (cold, dirty German) ocean, so these loo-ticket-messages kinda cheer us up, no?
But!!!
Irony, huh. The plumber has been at the condo in Bad Harzburg FOUR times and it´s still clogged (see last post).
Four darn times.
And I present you:
Funny/arty/hope-making Toilet Paper!
In these days we just NEED HUMOUR, right!
Henry??? He is fed up and...
Crazy times, do you have fun TP, too at least?
Btw... it was interesting and also reassuring to read in the comments that some of you think the same: It´s not fun to be a "landlord".
And to make another thing a tad more transparent: Ingo went to the nasty lady once, it was no repair, just an update (she wanted to use less water when going for a pee only), the rest was always done by professionals.
My Bro and I (and Big Niece) only did the floor and wallpaper and that we did a lot of times and are good at (OK, I´m just the helping hand)...
ALOHA, to a great weekend you all, we might even hit the 30C´s!!!! Yayyy (Sorry, Bill, it might swap over to you, you´re too close ;-)...)

"Shitt# Times"
The toilet is
Booooy.
Not ours but the one in the condo my Mum gave me, an elderly lady lives there - she is amazing.
Sadly lost her Hubby - and three toes. Other health-issues, too.
Right now she´s in hospital. Thanks to "Corinna" only now, she was to be there in May!!!! May.
Luckily there is a second, small guest toilet she can use and my.
Such a positive person!
She paid the first time - though it would´ve been my job.
I asked her to send me all the stuff and see - such a cute stamp and the letter is cute, too:
Three times the company went there, 7th floor, with camera and all (the boss of the company went a tad too much into detail, explaining it all to me, ewww... see title shitt# times!!).
I still am in good contact with a company there and they found out... likely I will get back those darn nearly 1000 (thousand!) euro as it´s a problem of the whole house - ha-HAAA!
Had to contact the maintenance man(´s wife) and was nice, so she was nice, too, wish me luck - and that lady.
I am so glad a nice person finally lives there.
My Mum bought it for herself and then cancer won.
One man moved in - he lived in Spain before - and complained it´s so cold in Germany.
Huh? It is?
Then a woman. Wanted to save money on darn toilet - not my job, but Ingo went to the hardware store, drove all the way to her (not Braunschweig), installed, explained... she did not give Ingo money. Nor chocolate, not even a thank you.
I once got a bill from some company there, called them. Without asking me that woman had hired them and I get the bill?!
They said... "she didn´t give a tip, she didn´t even say thanks".
I refused to pay (by law under 100 euro she has to pay), she moved out.
Wish me luck this new lady is "worth" living in my Mum´s place that never was hers (Bro and I (and big Niece) renovated the whole thing back in 2011).
(Sorry, I´m not allowed to show full pics of my family)
And please wish me luck with the shi#...
And please wish me luck it won´t happen here - we have but one toilet! The garden is no option here! ;-)
No Henry, knock on wood for unshitt# times right?! ;-)
To end on a light note: I called Jürgen´s Brewery to make a reservation for today.
Nothing. Tried again. Nothing.
Then: cell-phone: they really did ring back and even remembered me! I thought, "uh-oh, did I mis-behave?! ;-)"
No, but it seems to be unusual that the woman books. Hello, Middle-Ages!
Then neighbour W knocked (our bell is usually off due to the lazy postie). W was sick Tuesday, so found my card ony yesterday - he´s better and will join us again :-)

Some Signs To Take Serious
I can´t remember where I got these, it´s a while ago but in these times fresh as ever, don´t you think?
Let me give you the details easier to read:
Well, in general, not only now, right!
So....
And...
This is for "Tom´s "Signs 2".
And Henry? He says:
What´s yours atm?
Mine is...

T STands For ArT (?)
You all made me look for Stamps and stuff, so here goes!
The paper I had already, coffe-mug stains included.
Add the stamps and weeeee....
Last summer Big Niece (she´s turning 10 already!!!!) brought me a mussel from her holiday at the ocean and now I found a way to give it a proper "home" :-)
The coordinates you see in first pic would lead you to Bremen.
Ages ago Ingo and I were there with my Dad and his "star friends" (there is an observatory, too).
For lunch I ordered Labskaus, a typical Northern food.
My maternal family in second instance after WW II lived in the North.
There you have it with a Rollmops (örks) and put the beetroot right in. Looks like puke, Ingo prefers it the less-icky-looking way:
Mum worked in Helgoland and after visiting family at home she had to take a ship used by many a tourist, too.
Come winter she asked to have put Labskaus in a barf bag and ate on said ship.
You know... looks like puke, steaming as if fresh from your inside... Mum, this is to you!!! :-)
It´s warming up.
Well, that was Sunday.
And a reason to take part in Elizabeth and Bleubeard´s "T Stands For Tuesday".
Henry says:
Summer, right, pretty, please?

Find Nemo (Not So Hard)
Ingo works in Salzgitter.
Wiki explains, "With 101,079 inhabitants and 223.92 square kilometres (86.46 sq mi) (as of 31 December 2015), its area is the largest in Lower Saxony and one of the largest in Germany." - hence there are many "cities", maybe you´ve heard of "the of miracle of Lengede", Lengede belongs to Salzgitter, too.
Wiki says: "On 7 November 1963, 11 West German miners were rescued from a collapsed mine after surviving for 14 days, an event that later became known as the Wunder von Lengede ("miracle of Lengede")."
There is a movie on that, too and the actress is BEAUTIFUL! As is one of the actors, too :-)
But Ingo found Nemo in another part, at the police-station and he was eager to take pics before dumb people destroy it.
At the police station!
Ingo!!!
Unlikely to happen!
Sadly again no hint on the artist...
Right?
Yet, Nemo does not look happy!
But maybe, like his friends, he is just afraid there still might be pirates around!!!
Taking part again in Sami´s COLOURFULWORLD Monday Murals, who really created another mural hunter :-)
Oh, boy, P.S.: I do check if links work and they do.
They refer on West- and East-Germany!!!! Can you believe this?! The wall fell 1989!!!

Potpourri #2
Back to the walk, shall we?
Despite it´s rather waaaay too cold for July it´s warm enough to roam around :-)
And that we did, like a lion ;-)
Oh, yes, pardon me, those are sleepy duckies!!
Henry´s Siblings says:
We had a fine Saturday, I hit 2000 calories easily again,, pics are to come (did I take pics or just enjoy? What do you do?)...

Potpourri
So yesterday I went to get a new graphic card.
3 km one way.
Enough to take pics with....
JAAAAAA.. my old cam!
It´s back, it was for days already, I found out by WALKING to the store as in: No e-mail!
Rather dark house, as dark as spelling my name in the e-mail "flavea".
The arrogant lady said, "e-mail got out on 'date', check your spam!!!"
Me: "I did check spam, please let me see. Flavea???!!! It´s Flavia!!"
The nice, also female colleague: "Oh, like the racing guy Flavio Briatore :-)!"
Some people are just mindless (arrogant check-spam-lady, just like this "Dad").
And others (nice lady) with creative thoughts :-)
Hm. Are we Aussies or just dumb, must be the latter...
Sadly the connector for the monitors was old, Ingo found out, so we went to the store again.
12 km all in all only for that :-)
Ingo is still at it, we moved the stuff to his workplace (at home).
Over 2000 calories burnt :-)
Henry approves and...
He decides he goes for Aussie-Christmas, (if a tad too late) :-)
More to come.

Time Runs, Old Love
There are times in life you have to say "good bye" also to technical pals...
This one will stay, as back-up.
A sad future, is it?
Whoever is working "down there", I need this, TWO monitors!
"Learned" this at work.
"Work on the left one, see result on the right one."
Now it´s "surf on the left one, watch TV on the right one."
Once got offered a third one but didn´t work out, technically :-(...
I NEVER was allowed to do anything but software at work so hardware... Ingo is "the man"!
Who got frustrated! We set it all up for tests:
Spot another - actually four Lions in the background?
Here goes, "Big Niece" back then :-)
Well, back to PC, Ingo was devastated!
Yes.
The new PC has two ports for two monitors.
But.
No.
ONE OUTPUT!
"I cannot work like this!!!!", he ... "exclaimed".
Two monitors, ONE view.
The graphic card is older than my old pal (as in PC) Ingo found out.
Arty pic, huh, more on that soon.
So. I´m off to that store to get a "new" one, wish me luck.
Software girl explaining hardware.
What are the chances, I need LUCK!
Henry?
Turned up more than once and says "hi :-)!"
Oh, the title?
Feels like my PC was brand new. 5 years old at least. Started as Win7, then 10 and now... Sloooow old boy (in German PC is male).
And why love?
He connects me to YOU!
