Potpourri
So yesterday I went to get a new graphic card.
3 km one way.
Enough to take pics with....
JAAAAAA.. my old cam!
It´s back, it was for days already, I found out by WALKING to the store as in: No e-mail!
Rather dark house, as dark as spelling my name in the e-mail "flavea".
The arrogant lady said, "e-mail got out on 'date', check your spam!!!"
Me: "I did check spam, please let me see. Flavea???!!! It´s Flavia!!"
The nice, also female colleague: "Oh, like the racing guy Flavio Briatore :-)!"
Some people are just mindless (arrogant check-spam-lady, just like this "Dad").
And others (nice lady) with creative thoughts :-)
Hm. Are we Aussies or just dumb, must be the latter...
Sadly the connector for the monitors was old, Ingo found out, so we went to the store again.
12 km all in all only for that :-)
Ingo is still at it, we moved the stuff to his workplace (at home).
Over 2000 calories burnt :-)
Henry approves and...
He decides he goes for Aussie-Christmas, (if a tad too late) :-)
More to come.

I like the photo of 'that dad'. Maybe he was talking to his mistress. Or his wife called, checking if he went out with the baby. Anything is possible in my imagination
I enjoyed this walk. So lovely to be out on a sunny day.
Loved the house-in-the-wall and the way you captured the light under that bridge, and I giggled at the absent-minded dad (although I hope there was a good reason the pram was empty). Burning up so many calories ALMOST inspires me to go for a walk!! :))
...what a gate, we have a Grasse River here, very nice house, phones will be the death for us, nice shadows, old is good, 5 months early, why two monitors! Henry's sibling has horns?
Like your photos from your out and abouts. My walks are just trees. And that’s a pain when people can’t spell your name. I get it with my first name. It is Erika not Erica or Ericka that folks who don’t know always do. I can related to that. Happy weekend hugs Erika
Ohh all those photographs are really amazing Iris !! Very interesting all, so cute is Henry! Have a great day !
Big hugs, Caty
I love that house with the flowers in front. So beautiful.
Nice photo of the villa. I found the pic of the dad to be interesting. It made me recall a time when my favorite cousin and I overheard a parent say that they didn't have time to go to the park with their child because they had "Important stuff to do." Have a great weekend!
Nice assortment of photos. I especially like the "light plays with architecture" one. And I see the Santa you said you saw. I vaguely recall sometimes there is a "Christmas in July" on July 25, but that's all I remember about it.
I love the old house and wall!
Happy Saturday, I love that old house and wall-glad you can take photos again, and be on internet
I liked the gate. It was beautiful. So is the Villa. LOVED Henry's sibling, too.
Many people are too busy to pay attention to their children. This reminds me of a friend who reads and watches videos on his phone. You can't get his attention for any reason because he's so involved in whatever is on the phone.
Have a super day, dear. You sure burned a LOT of calories getting the internet up and running again.
Nice gate and that old house and wall is fabulous. Glad you are back in business taking photos, it'll be fun to see what you photograph. My wife has the same problem with people spelling her name so when she is asked, she just spells it out. Her name is Shari and people always spell it Sherry or Shery. It's easier just spelling it to the person.:)
"What kid, i'm busy" cracked me up. You see that everywhere, they don't even know where they are walking so watch out. :)
Sure pretty flowers, but what a graphic card?
Coffee is on
Bertiebo! Yes, maybe the first one, eww! YOu made me laugh, I didn´t think of that!
____
Joan Elizabeth, well, it was power walking, like jogging as Ingo is much taller than me... But still tike to take pics :-)
____
Margaret I do hope the pram was not empty! Help, where is that baby??
Yep, once you start you keep going! :_)
____
Tom :-)
River-pics, please and I agree on the "smart"-phones, they make us dumb... In Australia they now just celebrated Christmas as it´s winter now, hence Genry played Santa´s deer :-)
Once you had two monitors you cannot go back to one. It´s so practical!
____
Erika! We are Sisters in name-pain!
Ingo uses my surname cause it´s easier, you might think and still people manage to mess that up!
And... I gave that arrogant lady my card even! We live with it, right ;-)
____
Caty, thank you, it was a great walk, hugs from here :-)
____
gigi, it looks a tad too dark for my liking. We need BIIIG windows, it´s not Hawaii here ;-)
____
Liberty Belle, oh, "important stuff". Hmmm, sounds like my parents. My Brother has two kids and they are "the most important stuff"! :-)
____
Anne, yes, I have friends in Australia, so ... but we celebrated- like everyone there - also in December, the city of Perth is beautiful then!
____
RedPat, yes, I stopped my "jogging" cause I thought so, also.
____
Elizabeth, that is impolite to also ignore adults! I think I would tell that friend off once and otherwise leave.
Yep, also got a new DVD for training :-)
____
Bill, Shari just screams for getting it wrong, no wonder she gave up and spells it right away!! That´s why Ingo takes my surname as his... forget about that, LOL - and they get mine wrong, too.
Yes, last sec they see a shadow and go out of your way, so stupid it must hurt (literally, the weight of the head down all the time....)
____
Dora, the graphic card if old delivers the same screen on both monitors. Despite the PC being new the card was old. The PC has two ports for two monitors and the old graphic card had no idea what to do ;-)
All good now!
Wow so many steps Iris, and all those calories.. no wonder you are so slim ✨
Slim, LOL. Grace, I do have a mirror! ;-)
And Ingo feeds me! Bärenland, you know, the gummy bears...
I get a little crazy when I have internet problems. I'm glad you're settled now. Boy, that's a lot of steps and calories! Wow! My bad foot starts kicking in around a mile!
