Jeanie made me look for old pics.
This was... 1979???
See the tiny basket?
Ever seen what kids get these days from the "Easter Bunny"?
Huge, expensive toys, mostly.
We marched uphill in the snow to school, HA! (kidding - but I remember 1977... so much snow I could not see the other side of the road, OK, I was small).
These days? Hunting?! Nope. Wrapped up nicely, that´s all.
We? Looking for it. And... Sharing...
Wearing "nice clothes" - oh did I hate that!!!
Bro kept me busy, though.
Being the big Sis...
I.Do.Not.Like.Sweets.
Dad, he can keep both chocolate bars!!! He can have the bunny, too...
See how Dad tries to get the chocolate out of his hands?
What did Mum do?
Take a pic.
My Mum, huh. Ours.
Wonder what Bro´s Daughters do today?
Sweets, pressies, just watching TV?
What are you doing, basket in hand, looking for... sweets, eggs, toys?

...our grandkids enjoy an egg hunt today!
No one to old for candy.
Coffee is on and stay safe
It was a family fun day. Easter egg hunt.
I applaud your parents for buying wicker baskets, not plastic ones like kids get today.
I hope you had a nice Easter. We had a nice non-traditional dinner with my MIL. It was windy and cold, and so I took a short walk. Fun to see the old photos of you. Happy new week! hugs-Erika
Our grandchildren looked for eggs yesterday. It was super sweet, they shared everything with each other. No problems. Just like you and your brother
These are precious photos.
We always have chocolate at Easter. Yummm! for me, anyway.
Nice old photos and memories. You don't hear of many anti-chocolate people these days. :)
We have lots of chocolate around here right now - for at least a few days.
Peace. Something we all wish for especially at the moment.
I buy myself some chocolate and take my time eating it.
Iris, I love every single photo! What a cute little girl you were. These are great.
On Easter (and Christmas stocking, too) as a kid, I would get marinated herring, olives and sardines. I loved those flavors and still do!
