Fennel-Fan

Doesn´t this look yummy?

In Perth on Ten we saw Jamie´s 15 minutes-meals, at JB HiFi I got the set as a cheapy and let me tell you.

This salad is awesome.
And done in 5 minutes.

I always thought of children´s tea when hearing fennel.
And lemon... Our Perth friend´s son L eats lemons raw, always made me think of Homer Simpson gobbling the super-lemon down with his mouth inside out as result. Drooling sets in, too, when I see this.

SOOO wrong - I have a new brekkie-friend!

Here´s the receipe.

Certainly.
On Sat I went to our stupid Rewe, they had parsley and coriander (both fresh), no mint.

Got mint yesterday at another store, in the city, and wanted to get the other two at Rewe. No fresh coriander :-(
Most important is the mint, though, got dried coriander.

By.Golly.Yum.

Lemon is my "best friend" now, too, and, as Jamie often says: "Happy days" :-)

Brekkie can come - I´m still up at 04:40 hence have some time before walking to work :-)

Interesting salad Iris. I usually use fennel when I do roasted vegetables, I love the smell!

Never had warm fennel, Sami. In fact I only knew fennel tea! How do you do it, simply put in the pan with a bit of oil, salt and pepper?

Fennel is my new favourite veg Iris 😊 I only really started using it a few months ago and now I'm hooked! I like to eat it raw and cooked, so fresh. Will try your salad.

I will have to try it warm, I guess, Grace :-)

Love fennel, but don't have too many occasions to use it.
