Bad Boys (On Brekkie Table)
Yesterday when I got up I didn´t find my usual frog-cuppa.
This not always bad guy (.. ;-) ...) served me my coffee in this:
Yes, this poor widow was tortured by two guys who were created 8 km from where I grew up.
It reads:
Ach, was muß man oft von bösen
Kindern hören oder lesen!
Wie zum Beispiel hier von diesen,
welche Max und Moritz hießen.
"Ah, how oft we read or hear of
Boys we almost stand in fear of!
For example, take these stories
Of two youths, named Max and Moritz..."
Thanks, (Wiki)
Found the cuppa in my parent´s house.
Remember the big, green book my Dad used to read me from. Then to Bro, then I saw it in Bro´s place with Big Niece having it...
Go to South-Australia, Barossa Valley, Hahndorf, you´ll find his portrait at a café...
Cherry trees, too.
My home town has statues, too.
Bitter-sweet.
Care for a cuppa?

Ingo the bad boy hey Iris 😀 I don't see it, he's too kind and also useful too 😀
Had no idea Max and Moritz were from that area.
I visited Hanhdorf many years ago when Jose worked in Adelaide, lovely town.
Grace, yes, he´s no bad boy, mostly ;-)
Sami, really, you´ve been in Hahndorf, too? The world is so small! You know, then, how my hometown looks like!
