This is for Sami´s COLOURFULWORLD Monday Murals.
"Germany to scare: 30 ruins of days long gone
Domjüch State Mental Hospital, Neustrelitz, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania
After its opening in 1902, the Domjüch State Mental Hospital was considered a state-of-the-art facility, but just a few decades later, everything changed. During the Nazi era, the sanatorium and nursing home was used as a transit point for many people with disabilities and/or mental illnesses, who were subsequently sent to the Bernburg killing center.
After the end of World War II, the institution was finally abandoned, and the buildings fell into disrepair. Since 2010, however, the Domjüch Preservation Association has been committed to preserving the site, organizing tours, concerts, and theater performances on site. As part of the ARTBASE Festival 2019, 150 international artists and five Berlin collectives decorated the buildings' interiors and exteriors with graffiti."

No cheerful murals today. But I like Booooh! Too!
The first one is really a "boo" moment! A bit scary :) I like the second mural. Hope next year the travel plans don't involve strikes! Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Iris.
It was a fitting one for sure...
We always travel to Frankfurt one day in advance, Sami. And I´ve heard QANTAS is not as good as it was anyways... And Flixbus is as bad as DB I had to find out when going to Dortmund, ack!
