It Was Only Six Years!

Time flies!!! Don't you think?
BOOM, years gone by.
Or is it just me?

So let's love living our lifes (just to show I know the difference, haha...)

Ingo had a fab idea: A trip to Whitfords.

Yes.
Go ahead, shake your head.
Germany is NOT advanced, this was an adventure!
Last time H took us there. In 2013 and my!!!! Has the place changed!!!
Have you been there lately (say... not a couple of years ago)?

As Ingo just right now said he needs undies and Lakeside just lost out!!! (Which is sad, we got married in Joondalup after all).
Whitfords it is, and to those not close by I'd like to show you why.
We arrived around lunchtime (we're on holiday!) and this sounded good (we're German, too):

Now I'm not talking about beer, but... what happened to the good ole map made of paper?
Yes, this computer touchy-thingy is better for the environment, but your brain has to make no effort whatsoever no more!
Guess in my brain I'm already like 110 years old, LOL.... (see first pic!!!).

Just look:

Isn't this plain awesome???
A leisure place, not a shopping centre!

The one with the cam awww- and ohhh-ing... me.

When sadly back in Germany I'll show you ours (and, yes, that is single, not plural....).

This was part one - much, much more is to come (like... BOOKS... and.... YES, we saw Quokkas in Rotto and pics are on the way).

Wow, what can I say. I am thankful.
Despite the chemical water eats up my hair (the which with straw but hair... yep... me.).
Despite ... I will probably not go out by myself at night no more.

Happy pic on the way:

I went to get drinking water.
There was a bottle of red wine, cigarettes, and arguing.

I was on my way back home in a sec!!!
The manager called me silently back, by my name, too (isn't it funny how despite my now bad hearing my brain reacts to my name pronounced in English? And how everybody knows my name here - I DO feel home indeed) - he filled all my water bottles and said he has those drunks (not living here) coming all the time and police is on the way.

Sad.
But he takes care.

The world is changing, but you have to....

Let us enjoy and be thankful!

The 70s are back but having lived them once I am ready to try something different ... life is to short to repeat itself.

To me the 70's were a safe haven..

Can you believe I almost popped in to Whitfords myself today but ended up at Joondalup instead 😊

This really is so beautiful! It makes it an experience to go shop there. And I love that warmth and that people know you. Such a welcoming place.

Most shopping centres are being revamped to look green, welcoming and homely, full of art and plants. Our local Carousel also looks fabulous. Looking forward to the quokas :)
