Bro called today, he was so happy, I did not want to remind him of the upcoming date.
Twenty-one years. And DHL sends me this.

I once googled automatized stair-lifts for Mom - she left us 2011 - I still get ads on this. Hurts every time.

...I'm not good with dates. Both of my parents died within a few months of each other. But without looking I can't tell you when.
Oh. Is that good or bad? My Mom struggled 9 long years till she could follow.
And maybe it´s good to not always think of it already days before.
Reminder death notices? I never heard of such a thing and don't think it is necessary at all. I can remember my parents dates without that. Dad, 15 January 2000, Mum, 4 June 2004.
No, every time I see this date I think of him.

Dad made me a ring for my 30th Birthday... long story, it reminds me of July 19th.
So it came a bit of a "shock".
