T STands For TaTToo

My hot ticket to Elizabeth´s T... summer is on vacation...
So instead of a BBQ we had this, sad but yummy...

The journal:

Monday: Tutorial-time. Had a question which resulted in a) a nice chat with ALSTOM-teamleader and b) he revealed my ESE-teamleader is on holiday and "forgot" to let me know. And I have no project. What a start to the week. To say I´m pis#ed does not really hit it... but then... what if there was a family-tragedy or such?
Weather: too cool, one training-session, I was sooooo tired.

Tuesday: Tutorial 3 of 7 spoken by the most monotone speaker. Important stuff he jumps again over, the obvious you hear in detail. The test was kinda tough, but I managed.
And a bit of work for ALSTOM. A delta version-wise but in two languages.
One sheet like really messed up.
Nasty wind, cool. 5 sessions of training hence.

Wednesday: Went to ESE to get a device to use both big monitors WITH my ESE-laptop come July. There were technical problems but Admin and I sure had fun.
But BOY. He speaks as loud as Ingo. Think some people don´t realize they actually always rather yell...

We had to wait for another admin, so I went to Sorry Mom, and by chance someone else cancelled  so I got a date for not - as the guys that were in before me, months but... the next day!!!!
Think it was because they remembered my other tattoos!
Imagine that, they do tattoos every day and remember mine! Maybe because they have a story each?

Went all the way back to ESE.
Then... HUNGRY!!!

My karma-points were still on the positive side!!!
Went to the Taco Guys and wanted 2 Tacos, one for the night.

They serve 1 or 3 - 3 for €7.90. As I had to leave a deposit at Sorry Mom (I could make it down to €35, because the lady understood I´d miss out on the taco otherwise), I had but €6.20.
The (not Mexican, but Turkish, HUGE guy) smiled down at me and gave me 3 freshly assembled anyways!!!

Yippe-ya-yeah, Schweinebacke!!!

From there I went to the "castle" to get some money for the next day and from there finally home. Some 12km/7,5mi all in all - skipped training (feet hurt).

Thursday: ALSTOM-chaos.
Collected it all in an e-mail and when we talked about it teamleader3 said "very good!!!" Pea-counter me found several errors no one else did.
They even missed the dead man! (Frankfurt calls him SIFA).
So... pretty please, take me back when docu/translation will be resumed.

Went to the SorryMoms - SORRY MOM TATD'OH! STUDIO and got something for my parents. We all had fun.
I´ll have to go back, so no pic yet.

5 Sessions of training.

They want me back, but I was so sad to leave...
It really was tough to deconnect my ALSTOM-Laptop, dockingstation...
But we exchanged WhatApp-contacts and look forward to be a team once again.
*sigh*
Started one training session but was too "sad".. #best team ever...

Weekend: Saturday: Slept like a stone and was still groggy. I think leaving the ALSTOM-team hurt more than I thought.

ESE-gear does not work. Will maybe have to see them on Monday. Again.
Cleaned up a bit, sorted things out, found a dog.

This was a birthday-pressie from... my SIL!!! Before the kids were born and started looking like me (as they take after their Dad) she liked me. Now she does not not like me, according to Ingo she "hates" me.
Kept the kids from me whenever possible etc.

Aw, well, not the dog´s fault, right?
Ingo brought... flowers to be. #spoiled brat.me.

Ingo made mustard-eggs, two sessions of sport. Summer takes a longer break.
BUT Footy (American Football) on TV! Frankfurt > Cologne.

Watched a docu on Galileo Galilei, very interesting and: I´m officially not cool.
And then on "Antropause" - nature having people in Lockdown during COVID.
Sunday: Cake.

I would´ve loved the raspberries just like that. Ingo left me three.

ESE-gear does not work, frustration level adds up to ALSTOM loss.
I feel like an idiot.
Think I need a time-out.
Maybe should really ask for some. Find myself again in this chaos.
But with summer being gone... useless.

Why would life be smooth.

Love your artwork, Iris. Chocolate, Cherry, banana tea sounds great! Love the Henry photo. Happy T Day!

Thank you, Sharon. Sadly this was the last bag of the tea... it was super-yummy (but meant to be consumed in winter, not "summer"...)

...Iris, I hope that ESE will be a good experience for you. Enjoy a wonderful week.

Those tacos look yummy. And the taco in your journal is very cute. I love that he is smiling. And I love the compostable container too. And mustard eggs, that is something I haven't seen. But I bet it would taste good as I like mustard. Today we have rain again too, not sure I will be able to work my whole shift, but it will keep the holiday boaters down. Your journal just gets better and better, and this week it was fun. I hope you're having a great T day. hugs-Erika

Tom, I do believe so - after all I work for them since March 2022 :-) They just sent me to ALSTOM, money always comes from ESE.

____

Erika, those tacos are super-yummy! If you like mustard and eggs... go for it :-)
Oh, right - it´s 4th of July! And you have to work... I´m sorry. Here the sun came out but it´s way too cold.
Thank you, the journal is fun to do!
To a happy day - I hope you can celebrate a bit at least!

Another exhausting week. Nice of the Taco Guy to give you the tacos. The smiling taco in your journal is very cute. Mmmm, your cake looks delicious. Dessert today will be lemon pound cake with strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream. Or gelato.

Wow Chocolate cherry banana tea? You find the most interesting foods and drinks. I make my own tacos but this looks good. Ohh and that cake, I'll take a piece please. Your journals are alway so much fun. Have a great day today.

William, was way too sweet for my liking...

____

RedPat, thank you. Oh, Ingo could not eat it all, sadly.

____

CJ, actually, no, not that exhausting a week.
Well, you should´ve come over then - I could not even finish that piece - too sweet.

____

Nicole, that tea was super-yummy, I hope to find it again!
Must try to make Tacos, but these dudes are fun, friendly, always make them fresh and it´s so quick and easy...
That cake, though... sweet. Thank you the journal making is fun :-)
To a great (T-) Day!

Chocolate, cherry, banana tea. What a combination. It sounds delicious. As for the eggs, the yolks don't look done to me, but they sound good anyway.

Always love your calendar pages, Iris. Sorry about Monday. Grin and bare it, as they say.

That cake looks just perfect to me. I am a sweets eater, though.

Hope they call you back, dear.

Thanks for sharing your tea, your calendar, and your sad goodbye for T this Tuesday, Iris.

The taco guys drawing cracked me up.

Schokokirschebananentee? Nein Danke.

Nancy, thank you :-)
I´m not good taking compliments.
Ha, wish the sport would show - it does not! But I feel good at least :-) Hugz

Elizabeth the Tea IS delicious! I hope it was not but for a season and I find it again...
The egg yolk is done too much for my liking!

Monday... I just hope nothing bad happened to my ESE-teamleader...

Sweets... ack ;-)

Yes, I hope to get me back, too, sooo much!
Sorry for all the whining...

____

Bill, guess what I had tonight (and the rest tomorrow)?

Mustard Eggs yum, I imagine the taste is similar to what we have here which is Curried eggs.

Lovely photographs. The best one for me: the sweet cake.
Greetings from Mallorca. Have a nice summer.

____

Amy, curried eggs sounds great, too.

____

J.S Vila, greetings to Mallorca. Hope you have summer, here it´s cold and rainy since days...

That taco guy rocks! So good of him to give you all the tacos.
Oh those frustrations! I feel for you. And it's sad to say goodbye to workmates. I hope you get a new job soon and that the ESE equipment works.(eventually)
Sorry I'm late. Tuesday is a busy day for me.
Belated happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

Iris Flavia said...

Lisca, I visited The Taco Guys yesterday again and payed the correct price :-)
I hope ALSTOM takes me back when the job resumes...
ESE-equipment: ALL GOOD :-)
Busy days are good, right? Hugs from here

I don't think I've ever come across banana tea, but it does sound nice so will look out for it. There are a few places that cook up some really strange tea flavours but I guess they usually stick to the ones people like best! Happy late T Day ((Lyn))
