(Not) So Brave
Since they were cheapies and the guys are just hot, I got the series Supernatural on DVD and can watch in the original language.
Since we live together I can (mostly) "enjoy" a good eeeek and goosebumps.
"Asylum" gave me huge of both.
Because I was so brave dumb to go in one!
Back in 1998 or so. I was into flat sharing with a man and two women. Men are not that brave always... When the old asylum, the Sülte was to get ripped down, the two girls decided they wanna go in there and more or less "forced" me to be part of the party.
So we went. The way through a cellar-window wasn´t possible. Hence we tried the bunk-up thingy and mastered the first floor. Since I was the smallest I had to go first.
And there I stood, all alone in the old, freaky Asylum. Flatmate one was pushing flatmate two who wasn´t very sportive and just hung outside at the facade whilst I tried - at some point rather desperately to pull her up.
The more I turned around to make sure there is nobody suddenly standing in the door, the more I freaked out - man.
Certainly do I know that it would have been just another student or maybe some homeless person.
It was really... spooky. That green everywhere, the long corridors - you could practically hear people scream... We made our way through the old building - certainly at daytime! But the cellar was dark and even more freaky.
And we had but one torch and no idea how old the batteries were.
Was I glad when we finally made our way out after even gotten lost.
Never again would I do such a stupid and dangerous thing - that building was totally ruinous.
Somehow it was fun, though...
If I´d seen this series before, though.... no way. Ever!
At least we were so "clever" to let the male flatmate know what we´re up to that day.
Freaky fun! :-)

New Café Open
One café closes due to the season, another opens up for the same reason.
Construction work was started by myself and completed by Bro end of 2014 already, btw!
Mild winter, though (thankfully).
We should think it over, I guess, the snow gets in.
On the other hand... was a euro I bought the set for!
Hope the guests like the deco...
I even spotted two, but the turning of my head is enough and the tiny fellas with the yellow bellies fly away, sadly.
Forcast: It´s warming up again.
Sorry, Niece, I´m pro.
Driving is dangerous in this.
On the balcony it looks pretty:
On the streets it´s brown, slippery mud mostly.
It´s grey all day, yet many a driver has no lights on.
I keep a huuuuge distance to the car in front of me cause.... mud.
Too often the driver behind me sits in my back.
On the freeway many drive as if it was summer.
Sure, the cars have features like esc, abs and who knows what else.
Still! Longer braking distance, hello!
Others go at 60km/h and less when really, really not necessary.
Still summer tyres on, stay home, right?
So.... warm up, please, weather, I can keep the café going till March anyways, promised.
If the cheapy keeps up that long...

Reflections
Some days the light is just right for reflections, I guess.
And I think we really should go inside kemenate hagenbrücke next time.
Can´t wait till the green returns!
Offline shopping...
Love this:
Pics from last week, before the snow and mud hit...

An Egg, Glasses And Ten Eggs, No Lost Tooth
I was up early enough yesterday to have brekkie at home, but having had announced I´ll go to Maccas...
I had to, right?
It´s not the same world-wide.
1999 and 2006 we had this egg-thingy from time to time in Australia, was quite yum even (maybe only when you have boring muesli every morning).
Don´t need this again.
Though, actually I wanted the croissant anyways.
Bro got me the bifocals.
Telling me our Dad could handle them very quickly back then, and since we were much alike, maybe me, too.
Yep.
Stairs down, no worries.
In the end I even parked the car backwards in line on first try.
I just don´t like that they´re so huge, I don´t care it´s very modern right now!
We went outside for a walk, but Niece wasn´t having it.
It was just not enough snow, but heaps of crying instead.
Well, they tried, right?!
Let me tell you, you need patience. Loads.
But we really made it home after all.
And I shared my cheesy-cheese-bun with Little Niece, who clearly prefered cheese only.
And the cam.
Full pics again here, friends are welcome!
See the big Niece in the background? Doing great with scissors!
I got a ...
Little Niece still wanted the cam meanwhile...
I left rather early due to the bad weather.
Bro´d told me you can buy fresh eggs. On a Sunday even. Just around the corner, they hopped in the car to show me, Niece on Bro´s lap, not buckled up.
And, as Bro is, he told me something - just not the way!
LEFT, HERE!!!
Which made me BREAK rather hard and Niece was just away centimeters from loosing a tooth!
And here you go:
Take the eggs you want, pay €2,20 for each pack.
You got only €2? Come back some other time, Bro proudly reported.
Sadly we saw, now it comes with safety-cam cause some dumbheads...
Yummo.
Eggs! Happy eggs... or such!

Ingo Got A New Toy
Ok, reckon I´ll be the one "playing" with it, but Ingo certainly had to test it.
And funny enough the color is red - by chance, certainly.
Because...
The green one lasted only 25 years, btw! Quite a while, huh?
Quite a while we´re together and never ever have I seen Ingo (or someone else for that matter) holding a bread like this!
Red and green, it´s a motto here, it seems!

Attention!
Found on our little walk yesterday.
Why little?
See here...
At least no snow, right? Right? :-)
Not better with this, though...
The long driver?
Right opposite this:
You find not only the saddest playground I´ve ever seen but also the place where the Basketball Löwen do their training.
Funny. When I joined (another) ugly gym for a while I stood at a four-peeps-unit by myself, looking down.
Then three gigantic pairs of shoes were added, in them three over-2-meter-guys - freaky, too!
I felt like a dwarf with my 1,64m!
Funny. Ingo came home late and had to park his car here.
There was a tiny guy standing at the funny bus.
Was his size (1,84m), amongst those huge players tiny, the trainer.
Attention - those guys are huge (but nice and all smiles).

14*2016 (Or Such)
Happy 2016 everyone!
Happy 2016 everyone!
Happy 2016 everyone!
....
How did that happen, I bought 13 calendars and got one for free in the flow-magazine (actually 2 same ones, which makes it 15*2016!).
Crazy. Oh, no, wait! Actually I thought I bought one self-make-photo-calendar at ALDI - not in the pic, cause... not done yet. And there were two, one I gave to Bro.
17*2016.
High expectations - and loads to learn, too.
Besides of three (!!!!) Braunschweig-calendars and two from Tuscany (landscape/mini-cat-calendar) I got a weekly one for DIY-projects, one mental exercise, one "anything but high German", with the latter being what we speak, "flow - a year of tiny pleasures" (pics planned here), "simplify your day", the Dalai Lama´s words, the free flow-one and a motto-one.
Crazy, no?
No idea how that happened!
Happy 2016 everyone! Several times! :-)
May every day bring some wisdom and fun!
