As I work 99% from home K went to our boss M and got me a mug, so I can have my tea properly at home. And yes. That is my private PC-place. It was Christmas!
Wish me luck ESE keeps me (so far no answers from the customers (ALSTOM/Vossloh), I don´t bring in money... I am still in project Intranet).
With this mug I join Elizabeth´s T of course!
The journal:
Monday: A woman called me. I answered the phone as I learned:
"K" (we answer the phone with the surname) - "Hi, it´s me!". ... "Hi, me also!" (I had a guess)
Was my big Niece!!! Like an adult (she is 13), apart from that "faux-pas" on the introduction it was like talking to an adult!!!
Same school, all the rooms she described... like being back. Teachers all unknown, sport and math are her favs. It was very sweet.
@Ingo: I do NOT want that phone!!! NOT.
And I mean it - see on Thursday what happened with W - also more happy mail to show!!
Tuesday: Cried watching "The Green Mile" ("4 times in one night", LOL!) after Ingo let me know "Lost Places" is on and I finished that!!!
What to do in this icky weather otherwise?
Wednesday: We are still on holiday. And what does Ingo do????
Yes, letting me know, Siemens with railway is on TV. As if I was a junkie! (I started in railway with Siemens mobility, not ALSTOM).
I admit, I enjoyed it!
Payed a bill. Yes, worth a note!
You need PC, Smartphone, back and forth! But you get the bill on paper. How small can you print? I needed to take my glasses off and write it down. I am short sighted, lucky me.
I could do it all on the phone but prefer the PC. I am old, you know...
Thursday: Could not sleep in, got darn bank-stuff done. (Yippee, Australia, I´m on my way!).
Ingo went to the Christmas Market/City with me, despite he hates that π.
BY GOLLY!!!! Can people not be THANKFUL for once?!!! City full to the brim with people bringing back their presents. So many! I hope some at least had vouchers but most ... forget it.
X-Mas-Market: Not the sausages we wanted. All gone! Due to flooding, thunderstorm and all, ... see here, if you like (we´re good!!!!) they didn´t have the small sausages. We shared a big one.
How sad also for them! We´d bought at least another(!) 9 to take home! (Where we needed to take a detour to).
Friday: Lazy day. Lost Places and a docu on why you should also eat meat. Interesting. We don´t eat much of it, well... "back in the day" men didn´t kill a bear each day, either, huh, women got fruit and all that.
I am thankful I have no food-allergies and can eat anything!
K brought "vegan egg-salad" to the Christmas brekkie. Nah. I tried. Nah.
I am open for veggie/vegan, the latter so far disappointed me every time. Every time.
Also they said more water etc is needed. Aw, well. To produce ANY food you have to invest.
I could read myself into it, but I have too many books already. Cows fart a lot, vegan needs a lot of water.
Eat wise, a bit of everything.
What do you think? I love the variety we have, I do live a bit lowcarb.
But a fried egg on a slice of bread with cheese I cannot pass by.
Yes, I could bake lowcarb-bread. Did. Froze it. Ruined.
And, no. No training whatsoever. I hope my arm is healed now!
Weekend: Saturday: Grocery-shopping. Peeps stocked up BIG with fireworks, oh, gack.
Ingo - despite he actually does not like it - got pizza-baguettes π, for Sunday, as I was too hungry to wait...
Paper-tons are empty!!!! Ingo also got rid of the halfbike-carton. Now I HAVE to learn to ride it.
Sunday: Die Maus, Tom & Jerry and Dad´s classic, It's a Wonderful Life. With ASII (Angel, second class, aka Clarence).
Because... "every time a bell rings an Angel gets it´s wings"!
Art-wise I have something to say!
The nose (OK, not mine, I "suffered" enough with that. Boys called me pig, socket, German Shepherd... you name it), THIS one from FFO:
As we all help and motivate each other let me share!
I have these "pens", I think from LIDL! - I needed to learn to use them, but once you got it - great - PLUS, my good "old-fashioned" water-colors. Et voilΓ ! Easy-peasy!!!! Just a wee bit of grey.
Munch-wise
Thank you, Ingo! π₯°
Henry and the Oker-bees wish you a happy-honey-liy 2024!
