Monday, Monday...

I know it´s Friday already, yet these pics are from my Monday-ly walk to our old bakery to get Ingo´s fav bread.

Oh, you just cannot deny it anymore, can you?

Even if still dressed fully they show... Autumn sure is on the way :-(

And here, Technical University and this???

Yes, come on, guys, let´s find ways to save the world, but, hey, a cuppa here and there and then just throw away the plastic-thing?!
Is there some logic these days?

Hehe, while I typed yesterday I nearly got a heart attack.
Ingo just came home.

"I´m home, love ya!", he calls at the door and usually he RUNS to get the news.
He was in time, though, stormed inside the living room to kiss me :-)
BOOM, I nearly fell off the chair - you want me to drive a car? Better not! A bigger surprise than this and... noooo....

But romantic, right, just before I wanted to post this:

Lion of the day:

A man printing pics at dm :-)
They were called the Braunschweig Lions, an identification with our town.
Eleven times German Bowl Defender, six times they got the European Bowl. New Yorker Lions, pfff..., what a stupid name, just due to their sponsor :-(
A shop with music so darn loud we never even go in. Do you enter shops like that? I´m just old ;-)
I always was old, I never liked shops with loud music!

Is that a mural, Iris? I couldn't tell. As for the chestnuts, I guess I've never seen a chestnut that wasn't "nude." That was a total surprise to me.

We MUST find a way to save the world from disposables. I know science can find a way, if given enough time and money. However, we may be running out of time, but certainly NOT out of plastic.

I'd take a ride in that carriage and I love your lion of the day.

Elizabeth, I saw this monkey and bird on a balcony - and the owl, they are "real", so to say :-)
You sure made me laugh about the nude chestnut! I guess I´ll see them in a different way now! FKK comes to mind!!!

Yes, we will not run out of plastic soon... And I did not expect this in front of a technical uni! I´ve never seen the carriage in motion, though and yes, we still have LION-shirts like that, too :-)

...Monday, Monday is a great song by the Mammas and the Papas! I can hear it in my head, thanks for the reminder.

Sorry for the earworm, or... welcome :-)
I know that song, certainly :-)

It sounds like Ingo is in romantic mode these days Iris, a ride in the princess carriage with prince charming would be lovely oui 😉 I don't mind music when I'm shopping but not too loud that I can't hear myself think 😁 Happy weekend you two xx

Yes, Grace, a heart attack from this might nearly be "nice" ;-)
Wishing you two a happy weekend as well xx

I LOVE how Ingo arrived at home! I don't think Rick's ever been that enthusiastic with me -- in 23 years!

Pity about the excess plastic. I wonder how it will be able to resolve -- and when, if ever.

Jeanie, those are very precious moments, too, he´s not like this often!
But I LOVE that there is no envy from your side, I´d really love to meet you in person!
